I chose the specialty of prosthodontics because I wanted to make a real difference in peoples lives. As naive as I was at the start of my career more than ten years ago, what I have learned is its not always just about fixing someones teeth, but that when we restore a persons ability to smile, we can change their lives. We all take our teeth for granted, but when you cant be confident about your smile, it impacts how you present yourself, how you feel about yourself, and how others perceive you. As prosthodontists, we have the ability to really change how people feel about themselves, especially for patients who have an emotional drive to change their smiles and function. Dr. Brooks received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Driven to make a tangible impact on peoples lives, he became interested in maxillofacial prosthodontics while in dental school. This involves working with head and neck cancer and trauma patients. Dr. Brooks completed a four-year residency in prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He also earned a Masters degree in prosthodontics from the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.
Extensive experience with full-mouth rehabilitation using All-on-4 implant-supported dentures makes Dr. Brooks one of the most sought-after prosthodontists in all of Washington. He lectures to general dentists on the local, national, and international level on the subjects of dental implants, All-on-4, and other prosthodontic treatments.
Among several local, state, and national professional affiliations, Dr. Brooks is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and a fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. He received the John J. Sharry Award and the Joseph B. Barron Award from these organizations. Dr. Brooks served as the prosthodontist at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Bellevue and is currently a partner in Washington State Prosthodontics and Dental Implant Center.
Dr. Brooks resides in Bainbridge Island with his wife Gretchen, five children, and one large English mastiff. He enjoys the outdoors, especially boating, wakeboarding, and surfing. Dr. Brooks is also heavily involved in the community. He devotes many hours to volunteer work at his church and with local youth football and baseball teams.

I am a very family-oriented individual. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my children, and our siblings and their families, whether were watching a movie or taking road trips and sightseeing. I am originally from Guam and still live by my values and cultures here in Washington. I enjoy visiting new places and meeting new people, and am a big fan of the Seahawks!
I came to Washington the first time in 2007 from Florida where all of my family resides and loved it so much moved back here in 2018 to make Washington my forever home. I have two adult children who I enjoy very much. I never was a cat lover and somehow fell in love with two cats who are now my babies. I like going hiking, kayaking, and arts and crafts.
I have more than 20 years of experience working in prosthodontic specialty practices, most of which Ive spent here at Peninsula Prosthodontics. In addition to providing clinical support to our doctors, I also serve as a lab liaison; oversee sterilization, inventory, and ordering; and assist with front office duties. I am dedicated to providing the type of care that, for some, can be truly life changing. Everyone in this office works with compassion and a true desire for patient satisfaction.
Ive lived in Washington State for more than 33 years, and currently reside in Poulsbo where my husband and I raised our son. I enjoy music, movies, getting together with friends, outdoor activities, and have a love for running. My goal is to complete a full marathon one of these days!
I fabricate our patients dental prosthetics with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating restorations that look undeniably natural. My 30-plus years of experience have given me the knowledge and skill to meet all patients prosthetic needs. There is nothing better than working as a team to help patients feel better about themselves with a new smile.
When I am not working at Peninsula Prosthodontics, I am busy running my dental lab business, Summit Dental Laboratory, located in Port Orchard. I live in Port Orchard with my wife. I am a very proud father and grandfather, and love spending time with my family. I love watching college football and am a huge fan of the Huskies!
I earned my Bachelor of Science in biology while serving in the Navy in the Philippines, and completed dental assisting school at the Naval Dental School in San Diego. Now, as a part of Peninsula Prosthodontics, I assist our doctors with patient care and help the front desk team with filing and organizing. Everyone here is so nice, and we treat each other and our patients like family!
I am married with three children. My husband Fred and I are both retired from the Navy and both work in the dental field. Fred is a dental lab ceramist! I love cooking, gardening, and going to sporting events to support the Seahawks, Sounders, and Mariners. I also love to volunteer at my church by gardening to make the landscape beautiful.

I'll be honest, I know how this is supposed to go. It's not my first implant and crown. The attention to detail from the consultation to the final crowns was above and beyond. No one can tell my tooth isn't real. Perfect in size, color and function. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I did my research, I drove from Seattle to see Dr. Brooks and his experienced team. I can't thank them enough for making me feel so comfortable on a tough case!

Dr. Brooks and his team did an extraordinary job walking me through the process. Let's face it, taking all your teeth out and putting in artificial appliances is a huge deal! But through their kind guidance, everything seemed less daunting. All of my questions were answered, and then some. They made sure I knew exactly what I was undertaking . The final product fit beautifully, looked and worked great! Almost ten years later, they still do. You can trust Dr. Brooks and team, to do the same for you!

Dr. Brooks did a great job securing my implant. He was referred by my family dentist to tighten a loose implant. He had the job done in just a few minutes! Dr. Brooks and his staff were very friendly and courteous, making my first time visit very pleasant, not to mention a great view of the Olympics from the exam room! Thanks.

I was very pleased with my experience with Peninsula Prosthodontics. All the staff were very pleasant and professional and made me feel comfortable with no fear or anxiety. From the moment I was referred to this office until I walked out from my first appointment it was the best dental experience I could hope for. I went into this office not knowing if my complicated dental issue had a solution and I left with a solid plan. Dr. Brooks is extremely knowledgeable in his profession and knows just how to communicate that knowledge. The office staff were all extremely professional as well. Beautiful office too!
