I am terrified of the dentist, and Dr. Pickering and staff are just the greatest at making you comfortable and working with patients. I have a lot of dental problems, so I have sat in a lot of dental chairs over the years. These guys are some of the best dental professionals on the west coast, and can't recommend them enough. Seriously, this is the place to come if you need implants.or other major work on your mouth.

I highly recommend Dr. Nelson's office. What a funny, pleasant and intelligent gentleman. He helped me with my dental implant. I needed a bone graph too and he performed so smoothly with very little pain. It's a complicated procedure that many won't need I guess, but I didn't. He was very key helping get the implant set up. I really appreciated his calm demeanor, friendliness and fair pricing. He also performs very good cleaning too. His staff are wonderful and kind and his office space is clean.

Atmosphere was quite pleasant, staff friendly and helpful. But what really makes this a great place is their knowledge and skill. Look at Dr. Pickering's credentials! Few dentists have such extensive training and experience. Valedictorian, taught as Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF while maintaining his practice, has completed residency and masters research in implants, and lectures worldwide. Little known fact, he also contributed to the well being of The San Francisco Zoo animals by servicing their dental needs. Getting dentures is a big step for me, and I appreciate that I can have the best, Dr. Pickering, do the work.
