I 100% don't recommend this office billing issues. On top of that I have scares from the tool they used back corners of my mouth with too much pressure and is hurting for 2 weeks now very much hard to eat. My fill in is fine but they area where they had the tools pressed against my mouth is not. Was not a issue when I walked in. But is now

I find it very unnerving to find such a drastic change and stuff some of the finest hygienists I have ever had the pleasure to work with I cannot say that I'm pleased with seeing such a drastic change I know that that means there's a severe issue

They don't return phone calls, they change their prices after the procedures are done and submitted to the insurance company and if insurance company says that they can only charge X amount dollars for it they will try and change the procedure code to get more money. And when asked how much something would be you will be told that they aren't sure. Don't waste your time or money for a poorly run dental center. You'll probably have but luck with a rock and an ice skate.

Today reminded why I gave Peninsula Dental one star. My new Dental Practice reminded me thatI still have one filling left to replace from all the terrible work your office did. However that wasn't the worst part about using this office. The worst part about the experience was the fact that your billing department could never explain added charges to our bill. My wife finally disputed one of the charges right before we changed offices. The office staff never got back to her but, instead turned me into collections without even a final notice letter. During this time we moved from Seaford to Lewes and the collection company they used never made a effort to track me down. I found out is was in collections when my 800 credit score dropped significantly. Long story short it took four months for the office to figure out that they over charged our insurance and they actual owed us money. It took six more months for me to fix the credit score they ruined for no reason. During all of this nightmare no one apologized or seemed to care that they were in the wrong. So if you want fillings that fail and to be turned in to collections when they over charge you this is the perfect place to go.

I need an emergency extraction. Needless to say I still need one. They were great about getting me in the same day. However they wanted to do everything they could. And tried to up sell me. From the moment I walked in the door, I let them know, I planned on a bit more work done in the near future. But needed the tooth gone so I can get back to work.... But noon they wanted to use my pain against me. Make me sit there in pain while they figured all types of numbers. The whole time I told them just pull the tooth. Once they realized I wasn't interested in all of it. They tell me the Dr can't remove the one without removing the one next to it. Because it was bad too and it would just cause me issues later. So they wasted the free Xrays my insurance provides once every 2 yrs. Because I have to find a different dentist. But the girls in the office were nice.

This place likes to take advantage of elderly people. My mother has been to this office multiple times and has had problems with billing each time. Once the bill she has been given is paid they decide to call her and claim more charges, for work that wasn't even done. Continues to be an issue so she will no longer be going there.

I cannot speak to their work although I do question how many problems they identified with my father's teeth. One star aligns to billing/ cancellation policies and dishonesty. Due to the Memorial Day holiday, my senior citizen father, on a fixed income, was unable to cancel exactly 24 or more hours ahead of scheduled appt. He was not feeling well. Per the assistant office manager, he was 8 minutes late in cancelling so they intended on keeping $211.00. I have never had a dentist require deposits at time of scheduling My father went in to ask for a refund in person 3 times and was told it was under review by the dentist. I began calling twice a week starting on 9 July and was told they would refund but were dismissing him from the practice. They did not refund the $211 until 29 July (6 phone calls). I am also reporting to Medicare and the Maryland State Dental Association as I was informed anyone accepting any State Assistance (Md Healthy Smile or Medicaid) cannot charge late or cancellation fees. Update: In response to Brittney's response below, I cannot speak authoritatively on the insurance policy; however, I personally spoke to Brittney twice on the phone and multiple times through the front office staff and finally the office manager Michele before the reimbursement was processed. That took from 9 July to 29 July to accomplish. Initially you stated a refund would not be given but if he would reschedule you'd put it towards his procedure which is very close to blackmail.

Yo. Let me start off by saying I'm petrified of the dentist. Aaaaand I put stuff off as long as possible. These people not only got me an emergency appointment ASAP even though I'm new. Then I got a filling and a tooth pulled the same day, when I thought I was just gonna get x rays and a bill. Oh and did I mention it didn't even hurt. And I got long roots. Cmon man! I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Would give them a zero if I could!! Next step here is contacting the better business bureau and our lawyer!! I have a third temporary crown in my mouth and scheduled to go down there for the fourth time to get this right. Their crowns are defective and they are very arrogant about the way they handle their business!! I blame owners for not knowing what their employees are doing. Also trying to bill me for a broken appointmet because we were going to be 30 minutes late and they suggested a rescheduled appointment. Now they are trying to bill us 280.00 for a so called broken appointmet..I will see this guys in court . I paid 500.00 dollars up front and still no crown 94 days later!! Also used two PTO days to get temporary crowns put on that kept coming off!! #unacceptable

I have been going here since Dr. B took over. The staff is great. Everyone seems to enjoy working here, especially Jan at the front desk. She always has a big smile on her face when scheduling you an appointment. Dr. B has a great personality. If you are looking for a new dentist or a new hygienist to clean those pearly whites. Sometimes you need to wait a little but that is why I call just before my appointment time and ask if they are running early, late or on time. I do recommend Peninsula Dental Center. 01/01/22 - Follow up review... alot of problems with billing the insurance company. Check your EOBs. This review was 5 stars, now 3 stars. 06/24/22 - Received a phone call from Shannon. She apologized for the billing problems and told me they fired the outsource billing company. I guess other patients were having some issues also.

I think it's funny that the owner asks you to call the same phone number if there's ever any problems and ask for her but nobody ever answers the phone and if they do they put you on hold until the voicemail picks up. I will be canceling all future appointments with this company they are not professional and have had nothing but negative thoughts about this place. We will be changing our dental practice to someone else. It's pretty sad these days that nobody takes their job seriously and this place right here shows that in almost every employee. If you want a unprofessional experience this is the place you want. Very disappointed in the way this place is ran. I will no longer be coming to this place for business.

I don't usually do reviews but if you're trying to find a local dentist I would look elsewhere first. So far they have; lost my chart making me have to redo all my xrays, not sent the xrays to the orthodontist making me yet again having to redo all my xrays, last appointment they took me back over an hour past my appointment time, and now I need a cap on my tooth asap, they were supposed to schedule it three weeks ago when they received my info from the ortho and I have yet to be able to talk to anyone. Now my root canal might be messed up because I'm feeling pain so I'm not super happy with this place and will be going to a new one as soon as I get my dental work that's in process straight.

As a child I had a traumatic experience with a dentist. As I got older I dreaded going to the dentist. Dr Chhina and all of the staff here have been amazing. They talked me through every step of my dental procedure. My dental experiences have been amazing with every visit!

This place has the most unprofessionally ignorant staff and one was a female by the name of "tiffany " she was so rude and disrespectful towards us while we accidentally were late too an appointment. She kept speaking over me and no staff members helped in the situation.
