Dr. Petros graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine, a top 5 dental school in the nation, where, as an honor program participant, he treated patients with medically compromised conditions in the School's MCC program ( Medically Compromised Clinic). He then moved to California with his family to start his practice. With more than 14 years of clinical experiance Dr. Petros has been practicing general dentistry Periodontics (Gum Disease), Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy), Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, as well as Dental Implants. He also practices Cosmetic Dental Surgery and utilizes the latest techniques in teeth whitening. He is an active member of the Redwood City Dental Board, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS).

I always have experienced a welcoming atmosphere at Peninsula Dental Care. I've been going here for almost two years for my dental appointments. My questions were answered promptly with no hesitation to assist me if I needed anything. The staff also made sure I felt comfortable during my visit which put ease to my stress in going to the dentist. I definitely recommend going here!

I've worked in the dental industry for many years and must say that Dr. Petros and the staff are absolutely wonderful! It is difficult to find doctors you can trust, especially in this greedy field, but Dr. Petros and his assistant (one of the few male assistants I've encountered) were very professional and kind, and made me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Best experience at a dentist ever! Everyone who works at Peninsula Dental makes your experience very comfortable and positive. From the receptionist to the dental hygienist, and of course the Dentist himself. This office is exceptionally clean, professional, and inviting. Pricing is great and I didn't feel any pain when I recently got a few teeth fixed. SO so happy I found this Dentist.

I was in so much pain when COVID first hit. My dentist of 7 years wouldn't even see me. I called many dentists for my dental Emergancy and no one would return my call and if they did they wouldn't take new patients. I came across DR. Petros's website. He had an Emergancy number listed. I took another chance and Dr.Petros answered himself! He got me in that same afternoon! He is truly a patient advocate! David his Dental Assistant is so welcoming and an excellent provider too. I have all good things to say about Peninsula Dental care. Absolutely great dentist! Unless I move out of state I have found my forever Dentist.

I been going to Dr Petros for years and each time I go it's always a warm welcome. He's very gentle and very detailed of what he's going to do. Never sugar coats anything and is very honest about the consequences of not taking care of your teeth. I also like that you don't feel rushed when you're there. I definitely recommend everyone and anyone to come see him for your dental needs. This is coming from someone who used to get so nervous coming to see the dentist.

Honesty!! That's what you get from Dr. Petros. I've been coming here since 2015 and I've recommended this place to all my friends and family. My brother became a patient after me and a co-worker of mine started using their service. Dr. Petros is super knowledgeable and very honest when it comes to what treatment you need. Never push anything on you that is not 100% needed. He has a very delicate hand and is very passionate about what he does. Would recommend him again and again.

As someone who hadn't been to the dentist in eons and needing to go in during a pandemic, I was nervous. I reached out to book an appointment, the response was prompt and I was able to be seen a few days later. Dr. Petros and Team made me feel comfortable and my procedure was seamless and painless. I've been going to Peninsula Dental Care for about 4 years now and have nothing but good experiences! The staff is incredibly friendly and polite, and all of their hygienists have been super gentle and done a great job. Dr. Petros does an amazing job of explaining everything in detail, and is never pushy about fixing something that doesn't need to be fixed! I've also had a few fillings and cavity repairs from him and they were all fine experiences. I always go out of my way to recommend this office to anyone I know looking for a new dentist on the peninsula.
