Dr. Gloria Nichols is a graduate of Penfield High School. She attended the University at Buffalo, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Summa Cum Laude. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. She regularly attends continuing education classes to stay abreast of the latest trends in dental development and technology.
Dr. Nichols is known as one of Penfields leading dentists in family and cosmetic dentistry. She lives in Penfield with her husband, KC. Her son, Nick, is working on his biochemistry Ph.D. at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her daughter, Alexa, has earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo, and has joined Penfield Family Dentistry!
Dr. Alexa Hill, daughter of Dr. Nichols and her husband, KC Hill, grew up in Penfield and is a graduate of William Smith College, where she majored in chemistry and graduated with honors. She attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine for her dental degree and obtained her dental license after completing her residency at St. Josephs Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, New York.One of Dr. Hills strengths is working with diabetic patients. She enjoys educating patients in the role diabetes plays in oral and systemic health. Dr. Hill enjoys piano, volleyball, cooking, and walking Chloe.
Erin is the newest addition to our team. Youll see her at the front desk with a welcoming smile. She will greet you and answer any questions you may have about insurance or finances. Erin graduated from SUNY Brockport and has found herself enticed by the dental profession. In her time off she enjoys being with her husband Jarrod and their cat, Kora.
Katelyn is an exceptional graduate of Monroe Community College dental hygiene program. She greets everyone with a bright smile and is sure to have your teeth feeling fresh and clean after your stay. She is certified in administering anesthesia and loves educating patients on oral health. Katelyn enjoys hanging out with her family, traveling, and training her new puppy, Addi.
Like his older sister, Marisa, David has joined Penfield Family Dentistry as an outstanding dental assistant. David has an undeniably likeable personality that brings a charming male energy to this office of women. His strong work ethic and positive attitude is a great asset to our team. As a toddler, he looked forward to his dental visits here and now enjoys working together with his sister to help create beautiful smiles. Talk about family dentistry at its finest! In his free time, David loves hiking, fishing, and photography.
Marisa used to be a patient of Dr. Nichols when she was three years old. Growing up and loving going to the dentist, she started shadowing in the office. Soon enough, she began dental assisting. Marisa continues to expand her skills with dental training programs at MCC.
Jean has been a dental hygienist for 12 years and enjoys the relationships that she has established with her patients. She prides herself on being focused and thorough while remaining fully committed to providing them the best care possible. She is constantly upgrading her skill set and knowledge base through ongoing continuing education classes and seminars. Jean and her husband reside in Rochester with their two golden retrievers. In her spare time she enjoys cooking which is greatly appreciated by her husband! She is also an avid runner and loves to spend time in the Adirondacks at the family cottage on Cranberry Lake.
Libby is one of our very talented hygienists. She graduated dental hygiene school from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Libby is known for her bubbly personality and providing care in an incredibly thorough yet gentle manner. She enjoys getting to personally know her patients and loves to help everyone achieve their brightest smile. During her free time, Libby loves to snuggle with her golden doodle, Jax

Jackie is my favorite. Been coming here for years and always a pleasure to see her face there to greet you. There has also been some new additions and people here. Kaitlyn and Dr Hill. Highly recommend this dentist. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been going to Penfield Family Dentistry for my whole life and have consistently received exceptional service. The office staff, hygienists, and dentists are extremely welcoming and professional and clearly excel in their roles. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!

I am a senior citizen who previously went to the same dentist for 50 years. After he retired I needed a new dentist and found Penfield Family Dentistry. I couldn't have found a better place! Dr. Nichols, Dr. Hill, Marissa, David, Jackie, Elliott, Libby and the entire staff have been friendly, professional, efficient and very understanding of my anxiety. In addition to cleanings, I had a tooth extraction and a new bridge, and I am very pleased with everything. I highly recommend Penfield Family Dentistry. Absolutely the best dentist I have ever gone to. Dr. Nichols is truly an exceptional dentist. She is extremely nice, very gentle and highly skilled. The office staff, hygenists and Dr. Hill are all very friendly and highly competent. I honestly don't think you'll find a better dental practice anywhere. They also specialize in treating patients with diabetes, so if you are a diabetic, this is an extra reason to go to Penfield Family Dentistry. I highly recommend them.
