Dr. Patrick Pendleton is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Western Springs and the surrounding communities. Dr. Pendleton earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Northwestern University Dental School, after which he served a residency at Rush Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Pendleton regularly takes extensive continuing education courses, specifically selecting courses providing him with advanced techniques on the best possible care for his patients. He has advanced training from the Clinical Mastery Series with Dr. John Nosti, as well the Las Vegas Institute, referred to as The Worlds Premier Center for Postgraduate Dentistry. This training benefits you, the patient, by allowing Dr. Pendleton to provide advanced techniques, including smile design using porcelain veneers and crowns. He was one of the dentists sought out to participate in the clinical trials of Sonicare toothbrushes. Dr. Pendleton also lectures at south side study group meetings, and has written newspaper columns in the past, including his 'Ask a professional' column in the Suburban Life.
Dr. Pendleton is close to the community. You may have read of his work in implementing the toothprints ID program with local police and fire departments, schools, and Kiwanis. Dr. Pendleton volunteers for Donated Dental Services (DDS), an organization that provides dental care to the elderly, and physically or mentally handicapped. He has also given talks in area schools, and is a volunteer in the Special Olympics.

Audrey enjoys working as one of our front desk coordinators, which gives her the opportunity to meet and interact with our patients, making them feel comfortable and providing a pleasant experience at every visit. She loves being part of a fantastic team with a great leader, who keeps us involved and updated on technology, which benefits our patients' care and comfort. Over the years, our office has experienced many exciting and innovative changes, with more to come.
Karen is our dental hygienist. She grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, and still resides there. Before earning her degree from Prairie State College, she was a dental assistant and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She specializes in the treatment of periodontal disease and patient education. Continuing education seminars and research help further her own knowledge. Karen truly loves what she does and gives the utmost care to her patients. She is proud to be part of the Pendleton team and strives to be the best hygienist she can be.
Cheryl has been assisting Dr. Pendleton for over fifteen years. One of the highlights of her position is being involved in smile makeovers, and seeing how excited patients are when the case is completed. Oftentimes, these are patients that have been afraid to smile for years, and seeing the end result puts a smile on our face as well!
She graduated college as a certified dental assistant and worked in that role for ten years before raising her two sons. She also worked 23 years at Walmart (18 years in human resources) and now feels very blessed to be able to return back to her original passion - working with a great team of dental professionals again!

This was the first time I met Dr. Pendleton and his staff. Everyone was amazing. Paperwork was available to be filled out prior to the visit, making the actual visit easy. The staff provided thorough explanations regarding how the office visit would proceed. As I can be a bit apprehensive when going to the dentist, Dr. Pendleton was quick to put me at ease. Great team. Prompt, professional and friendly. I love the flexible hours with Monday evening schedule. It's great that Dr Pendleton goes above and beyond with the oral cancer exam in additon to full dental services.

Our first visit to Dr. Pendleton was an emergency appointment for our son. The experience was great; he resolved the immediate issue in a caring way, then explained the best alternatives for continued care. Everyone in the office is friendly and personable. Dr. p is very thorough and thoughtful, provides detailed treatment plans, and we are happy we found him!
