Since completing his residency, Dr. Ryan has had the opportunity to work with several orthodontists with different treatment styles to develop a wide array of orthodontic skills for any situation he encounters. He has also had the experience of taking over patients from previous doctors and has experience remedying bite problems caused by people using DIY home orthodontics kits. Dr. Ryan has been an Invisalign provider since before he graduated. He has been able to work on many adults during his career, along with teens that are interested in Invisalign. For over 8 years, he was fortunate to work at a Super-Elite Invisalign office, which means that they started more Invisalign cases than over 99% of other treating doctors in the U.S.! What this means is he was able to understand and manipulate the Invisalign appliance more than most so that his finished cases can be at the highest level. He has completed over 1000 cases and will be able to create the most unbelievable smile you can imagine without braces.
With his extensive clinical experience, he will do everything he can to prevent any orthodontic emergencies. However, sometimes issues can happen (wires poking, broken brackets, etc.). Because he lives locally in Leander, he will be (almost) always available to take care of his patients if and when they need it after hours, including on weekends.
Dr. Ryan had to have braces twice when he was a child, otherwise known as two-phase treatment. After his own experience with braces and working on other young children, he always wanted to figure out a way to provide treatment that is more efficient AND pleasant. Dr. Ryan is all about options. He knows not everyone can afford comprehensive orthodontics. He also knows some patients who may require surgery do not want to have surgery. This remarkable device consists of an image sensor that utilizes optical and laser scanning to provide Dr. Pendleton with the ability to view high-definition images of a patients mouth instantaneously on a computer screen. The wand of the device fits easily inside the patients mouth, making it easy for Dr. Pendleton to use and comfortable for the patient as well. Because the iTero scanner produces digital impressions, it eliminates the need for traditional physical impressions to be made.
In this age of digital photography, it was only a matter of time before that technology was applied to X-rays. That day has come! Digital X-rays provide so many advantages over film X-rays: digital images are much clearer than traditional X-rays, digital X-rays are available for Dr. Pendleton to view immediately, we can archive digital images in our computer system, making it easy for Dr. Pendleton to view and compare X-rays taken over the course of time, and digital X-rays produce significantly less radiation (about 70% less) than old-style photographic X-rays.

Pendleton Orthodontics is efficient and organized. We usually don't have to wait very long for our appointments. Dr Pendleton is friendly and keeps us informed on next steps for our daughter's braces.

So far my experience here is good, it's been 2 months I started my Invisalign journey they answered all my questions every time thoroughly, never rushed, always checked if there is something to be answered. When I walked in for initial consultation they walk me through my treatment plans and finances, provided me with different options and they follow up before appointments. I definitely recommend them.

I've been seeing Dr. Pendleton and his staff for over two years now and I couldn't be happier with my care here. I came in around late 2019 with a crooked bite and a couple gaps between my teeth. Right off the bat Pendleton and his staff made sure I was educated on the paths I could take and comfortable throughout the process. I've been using Invisalign and I'm blown away at how much they improved my smile, and I couldn't be more thankful for the entire team. I love going to an office where you can tell the people who work there love their job and want what's best for you and not about making a sale. I couldn't recommend them enough! :)
