Dr. Amy Rust completed her pre-medical studies at the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Science, a minor in Music, and University Honors. She was an active member of the UNH Pre-Dental Society and was a saxophonist and drum major in the Wildcat Marching Band. As a senior, she researched Infective Endocarditis and Its Role in Dentistry and presented her findings at the UNH Research Symposium.
In May 2017, Dr. Rust graduated from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, as part of its inaugural class. During her four years at UNE, she was a council member for the dental schools American Student Dental Association chapter and was the Chief Editor of the dental classs first ever yearbook. As part of her clinical experience, Dr. Rust completed a three-month externship at Mid-State Health Center in Bristol, NH. She also participated in a two-week rotation at a pediatric dental clinic associated with in Portland, ME.
Dr. Rust is licensed to practice General Dentistry in the state of New Hampshire. Committed to staying current with the latest materials and techniques, she attends a variety of continuing education courses and dental conventions, such as the Yankee Dental Congress held annually in Boston. Dr. Rust is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Hampshire Dental Society, and the American Dental Education Association.
Dr. Amy Rust (formerly Dr. Amy Landry) was recently married in September 2019. She is originally from Salem, NH, but currently resides in Auburn, NH, with her husband, Bill. In her free time, Dr. Rust enjoys hiking, bicycling, drawing, painting, and spending time with her friends and family.
Ariel graduated from NHTI-Concords Community College with honors and a dual associate in Dental Hygiene and Health Sciences. She is licensed in the state of New Hampshire in: Dental Hygiene, as well as the Administration of Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Sedation. She is also certified as an American Heart Association, Basic Life Support Provider.
Ariel has a passion for all her patients from those with the newest teeth to the oldest. She brings her love and enthusiasm for the field of dental hygiene to educate and care for her patients, providing each patient with tailored evidence-based care. In her spare time, she enjoys collecting dental antiques, spending time with her husband, two young kids and animals, reading, painting and being outdoors.
As a child it was Karyls dream to be a dental assistant. After Graduating from NHTI in 1990 she started her dream career as a certified dental assistant. Karyl joined our team in August of 2014. Karyl enjoys spending time helping her patients reach their optimal dental health. She strives to make each patient feel comfortable during their dental visit. When not at the office she enjoys her family, and the farm life. She spends much of her time enjoying nature, riding one of her horses or hiking with her dogs.
Debbie graduated from NHTI in 1976 and spent the next 8 years trying to find her dental home prior to joining Penacook Family Dentistry in 1984. Over the years she has enjoyed working with families and watching their children grow up and return with their children. She remains passionate about her career especially with additional education and the practice of oral surgery, implant dentistry, and periodontics within the office. When she is not at the office she can be found in her gardens, walking or spending time with her family.
Trisha joined us in July 2020 as a dental assistant. She enjoys working with an amazing team! Trisha has over 13 years of previous dental chair side experience. She holds certification in radiation safety and infection control.
Stacy grew up in the Penacook area so its nice for her to see familiar faces walking through our door. When not at the office she loves spending time with her family. She loves the outdoors, especially in the fall.
Jodi has been in the dental field for over 15 years. Starting as a dental assistant in 2003. Schooling from Boston University of Dentistry. Currently, her role is that of front desk office manager and patient care coordinator. She enjoys helping transforms patients smiles and interacting with patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly, positive personality, and contagious smile. Jodi loves to spend time with her adult children and granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys her quiet country life, reading and planning her next big adventure.

I'm so happy I found this Dentist and her team simply amazing! My dentist retired found Penacook family Dentistry online I had One of the Dental Hygienist today for my cleaning her name was Wendy very pleasant and explained everything she was doing.The team as a whole so far are vert welcoming.

They messed up on a filling, I have had tremendous tooth pain biting on it, I missed a appointment, and they refused service after. Telling me I needed to find someone else.

I confess my impression may be skewed. My lackadaisical habit of missing checkup for far too long has reduced my frequency of experiences, and I've gone there so long (they're literally a 30 minutes' walking time or less from anywhere I've lived) I have little memory of other dentists. But I can't say I've ever been able to complain about Penacook Family Dentistry. If anything could have been said to trouble me, it was that the staff sometimes seemed *too* quietly nice to be true! One time the primary practitioner (who likes a challenge) had the good grace to volunteer that he simply didn't think they could do certain needed work without me being unhappy about the results, and referred me to someone more qualified for it. My dental needs have been few, but sometimes odd ones... which they handled well. I have a good diet, but seldom take proper care of my teeth and grind them in my sleep. They've created custom-fitting hard mouthguard sets for me and helped deal with consequences of the 20-odd years of unnecessary surface wear that had happened before that. As has happened to me just now, some years ago a huge cavity's hollow rapidly grew under a tooth's enamel undetected because I'd missed enough checkups. Minor chips came off to reveal it and I made an appointment, not knowing what was really going on. Some time before the appointment that tooth simply shattered, the remainder split vertically down to below the gum line! One of the quirks of my family line is having oddly dense bones, and the remaining tooth pieces that needed removal were fused _very_ tightly with the jawbone. But they were extracted without ordeal. Not only that, the collateral damage was minimal; my recovery was quick and uncomplicated.
