Dr. Toro is originally from Venezuela. She obtained her undergraduate degree DDS in 2006 from Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela. She worked as a General Dentist before coming to the US to pursue her dream of becoming a Prosthodontist. She went to Nova Southeastern University where she did her three years of post graduate studies and obtained her certificate in Prosthodontics in 2015. She keeps up to date with new procedures and technology in implant rehabilitations, fixed and removable prosthodontics through continuing education seminars and courses. Dr Toro is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontist, Florida Prosthodontics Association, and American Dental Association.

Freaking AWESOME! Great staff! Extremely Professional. Very knowledgeable. Honest. I had a wonderful experience at Pembroke Smile Center. I'm happy to have found my new dentist. I highly recommend this place! I am from Orlando, Florida, and I travel all the way to Pembroke Pines just to get my teeth fixed with Dr. Roman. It's worth the travel! Because I know that my smile is properly taken care of. Dr. Roman is a very patient and dedicated dentist. She pays attention to detail, and she will not let you leave unless the work is perfectly done. She cares. The whole team is dedicated to your health. Paola has been wonderful to me as well. I absolutely love this place! We just moved to Florida and found this place. They are warm, friendly and super attentive. From the moment you walk in and are attended by the receptionist to the hygienist Mayra, Dr. Toro and her assistant. Wow I felt like royalty. My husband, son and I will not be going anywhere else. I normally do not like going to dentist and panic. I completely forgot I was in a dentist office. They made me feel so comfortable and pleasant that I never got the chance to tell them my fear, lol I completely forgot because I felt at peace the whole time. This place truly cares about you. Also, they are super clean which during COVID is super important. I highly recommend them.

Dr Katherine Roman DDS, is one of the most qualified, ethic, and professional person I have ever met. She will make sure that even small details concerning your oral health is taken care of. Many doctors in south florida care about your money and insurance coverage to see how much out of it they can get. Dr. Roman cares about you and your health. I have been looking for a dental office where I feel safe and cared for. Doctor Toro was absolutely great. She was warm, understanding, and really explained everything with great detail. The hygienist Luisa was a wonder to work with. She was also gentle and got the job hobe in a timely manner. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist but Pembroke Smiles has changed my opinion. The Invisalign package that I was quoted was very reasonable and one of the best options I've received in the Pembroke Pines area.
