Born and raised on the South Shore of Boston, Dr. Pellegrini graduated from Archbishop Williams High School before attending Princeton University, where he earned a bachelors degree in biology. While at Princeton, Dr. Pellegrini attained All-American Track and Field status as an NCAA National Champion in the hammer throw. He also played varsity football and received the Winston Roper Award for outstanding scholar-athlete.
Dr. Pellegrini then attended Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctorate degree in 1983. Upon graduation, he immediately married his wife, Pam, and reported for duty in the US Navy, where he continued his dental education as a General Practice Resident at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. His next tour of duty took the Pellegrinis to Sicily.
In 1987, Dr. Pellegrini entered private practice in Duxbury. He and his wife have raised five children and they currently reside in Kingston. Dr. Pellegrini is an avid sailor and mountain biker. He has donated many hours running retreats for teens at Holy Family Church, helping the Junior Sailing Program at Plymouth Yacht Club, and traveling to Honduras, Central America with CapeCares to provide medical and dental relief.
Dr. Peter Pellegrini is a general dentist with a focus on cosmetic and adhesive dentistry that currently practices in Duxbury, MA. He graduated from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in 2018, and currently works in private practice with his father, David. Since joining Pellegrini Dental, Dr. Pellegrini has focused on providing the highest level of individualized care for his patients by utilizing his skillset, technological knowledge and application of additional treatment modalities. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, fishing, sports and photography.

I have recently moved into the area and am new to Dr Pete Pellegrini. He and his staff took the time to figure out an obscure issue with a tooth that has been bothering me for a few months. I appreciate their patience and expertise very much and am grateful that I was directed to this practice.

These people CARE. I had a Tooth ache and Dr. Pete called me back at 7:30 at night while at dinner for his girlfriends birthday to help me. Then Dr. Dave called at 9 at night to make sure I was ok and both offered service on a weekend and their days off if needed. This isn't a requirement they do it because they are passionate and go ABOVE AND BEYOND

I had a great experience getting a cleaning here, but unfortunately I found out after the appointment that Delta Dental only covers half of the bill. I'm disappointed that they do cover Delta Dental (which I thought was accepted almost everywhere), and now I have to find a new dentist.

This is an excellent dentistry in all regards, from the front desk to the care and treatment from the team. I've been working with Dr. Pete and Joan mainly, I cannot talk anymore and my whole face and mouth twitch like crazy due to a rare neurological disease. I write on my iPhone to communicate and they work around my twitching. I highly recommend Pellegrini Family Dentistry and they are disability friendly!
