Dr. Savoy moved back to New Iberia after ten years of higher education in New Orleans. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Tulane University, he attended four years of dental school at Louisiana State University. In 2015, he was accepted into LSU's pediatric residency program, where he completed two years of specialized training in conjunction with Children's Hospital. During his schooling, he also spent several summers in the Dominican Republic providing dental care in rural villages and training under Dr. Vanesa Nolasco.
Dr. Savoy married his wife, Meaghan, in 2012 and they share two beautiful children, Ella and Cooper. They have a golden retriever named Evangeline 'Eva' who you may even see around the office! He enjoys duck hunting, playing tennis, and cooking with friends and family.
Becky, an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant, has been with our office since 1986. She and her husband, Louis, live in Loreauville and have a daughter, Lauren and a son, Evan. When she is not at work she enjoys being outside, having family gatherings, and traveling.
Baronica has been the front office receptionist since 1992. She and husband Rendy have three children, Derrick, Ryan, and Ashlee, and seven grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys camping with family and friends.
A native of St. Martinville and resident of New Iberia, Gail has been an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant for our office since 1998. She has one child, Peyton. When not working with her second family she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and watching Peyton play sports.
Sharon has been part of the front office staff since 1999. She and her husband, Chris, live in Jeanerette and have two children, Brandon and Jamie. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and friends.
Meagan received her Certification of Completion & Expanded Duty in Dental Assisting in the summer of 2016. She performed her clinicals with our office and then joined the front office team. Her favorite part of her job is working with children and seeing them smile. Meagan is married to Josh, and they have three beautiful children together. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and making people laugh.

From the first conversation I had on the phone with the office staff to entering the office and meeting the dentist and hygienists, it felt like home! Everyone was friendly, helpful and patient! I was extremely pleased with Dr. Noto, my daughter had to have a baby root canal and it was handled with patience and ease! My daughter was comfortable and never once complained! We will absolutely use Pelican Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Noto again as well as recommend this awesome dentist to our friends!

Brought my two littles in a year ago and the staff and Dr. Savoy were amazing. He did some work in my 9 year old's mouth and she was kept very comfortable and had no issues. Fast forward to last week. Brought my other daughter in expecting to be seen by Dr. Savoy. But instead we had to deal with the new dentist, Dr. Noto, who we were told is pretty much taking over in the office. Our experience that day was very uncomfortable. She did a procedure on a little girl that left her screaming in pain in the middle of where the the other children were getting teeth cleaned. Terrified my daughter and others. Even I was shook. She was very rude and tried to over parent me in front of my daughter. She was rough. Needless to say I've taken both my daughters out of there and have already found a new office where they are wonderful. Again we love Dr. Savoy and the ladies there. But Dr. Noto is not someone I want working with my kids

Brought My son to a new dentist today. His dentist appointments never end well. Except for today! Ashley was so patient with him ensuring he was comfortable with everything she was about to do. He did not cry one time!! (except for when the dentist made him lay down) I was in actual awe as I listen to the way she was talking to him, showing him on that Dino what she was going to do to his teeth and him allowing her to then do it to him! My husband even said to himself as he watched her put the tooth cleaner in his mouth..."There's no way!" We both just looked at each other like... as he allowed her to do it without a peep!! Dr. Savoy was also amazing as he told us recommendations and helping us understand all the ends and outs of keeping my son's teeth healthy! Thank you Mrs. Sharon for getting us in!! So glad I made the switch!

We love Pelican! Our daughter first seen Dr Brown and he was fantastic. As soon as Dr Savoy joined we seen him and switched to see him solely. He's amazing, calm, great with the kids, and knows his stuff. Best pediatric dentist in town!

First dentist visit for my 1year old, the assistant was amazing,very calm and sweet,the dentist was awesome,he was very nice and calm as well. We were in and out they answered my questions and I am over the top with this dentist office. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Today was all of my children's regularly scheduled cleanings with the new doc in town. We've been patients of Dr Brown for over 14 years and are very happy with his replacement. Dr Savoy took his time getting to know a little about each of my boys and their dental history, answered any questions I had about future work and we all 4 left happy and satisfied with who will now be caring for their teeth.
