Research has shown that children over the age of 3, often respond better to dental treatment when their parents arent in sight. Many of our team members have children of their own. Our dental team is specially trained to handle many behavioral problems that might arise. Our dental team has experience treating the smallest of children, and patients with some of the most severe disabilities.

Iv'e had a phobia of dentist for as long as i can remember but at the age of 4. I found Pelican Dental Care and ever by since i've been able to receive excellent care for my teeth. They didn't just take care of my teeth but took care of my well being. I came in every appointment with my doll and a blanket on my arm and was received with patience every time. I haven't had one bad experience with a single doctor in the 14 years i've been here. Dr.Perez and Dr. Jacky were the first doctors to ever receive me with such kindness and patience. I can wholeheartedly say they treated me like their own daughter was in the chair. I'd also like to mention the distance. I live around an hour away from Pelican Dental Care. Still, wouldn't go anywhere else for the world. Thank you for everything guys, you've helped me grow more than i will ever get to pay you back for.

Was excited to find a dentist for my children with good reviews that took my children's insurance. When they told me that no one but the patient is allowed back , I agreed to an extent. I told them I had no issue with my other children going back by themselves but I have a severely disabled child who is also severely autistic and she couldn't go back by herself for several reasons, they asked me if I wanted to send my family to a new practice...I told them I didn't because it was hard to find a dentist with good reviews that took my kids insurance I just wanted them to be able to accommodate my child's special needs. I proceeded to ask why is it that they won't accommodate my child's special need especially if I have no issues with sending My other children back alone.... she told me to hold on a sec as she placed me on hold but I decided to just hang up. You guys need to have better solutions in place to be able to accommodate children/people with disabilities.

As a patient of Dr Perez for a little less than a year, I am very happy with the work that has been done. Not to mention the staff and DR. are very professional and caring for their patients and over all for their safety, with Covid still going around, the office takes covid and the safety of their patients and staff very seriously. Signs are posted before you enter, stating a mask is required, a temperature check is performed before continuing not to mention how the staff are properly dressed following the Covid protocol with double masks, gloves and gowns. I feel comfortable to come and have a dental check up, knowing im being safe as well as the office. I highly recommend Pelican Dental Care for your dental needs.
