After operating a successful solo practice for over 12 years in NY, the Florida sunshine and climate were too hard to resist.He relocated in 2014 to Estero and took over an established office in Naples.Dr Loftus is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and West Coast District Dental Association.
He has held past board member positions in his local Dental Society, town library, and Rotary group.He enthusiastically takes continuing education classes to ensure he brings to all his Patients the best and latest in Dentistry.Dr Loftus, in his spare time, enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Excellent dental experience from Donna at the front desk, Nichol, dental assistant and of course the very friendly attitude and professional work by Dr. Loftus. I needed a crown. Yesterday my first appointment to prepare the tooth took about 35 minutes. My second appointment was 1 - 1/2 hour later when he spent 20 minuted putting on the new crown. I was surprised and very pleased everything was done in such a short time and painlessly! They accommodated me nicely and I was able to attend a very important Zoom meeting. Dr. Loftus is very well trained and is using the latest in dental procedures and equipment. I highly recommend him. I'm pleased with my decision choosing to go to Pelican Bay Family Dental.

New to Naples, searched for a full service dentist (like I had in Atlanta)- struck gold- dr Loftus and his team are outstanding and I highly recommend. Went from cleaning to repair of two crowns- dr Loftus assessed and explained the work, was expert and efficient. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. And he truly is full service- from basics to milling crowns on site. Outstanding. THZ

Pelican Bay dental is a very welcoming and professional office. Dr. Loftus, his assistants, and his secretary are so kind, caring, and efficient. I don't recall getting my gum numb without any pain, but there it happened and I can't be happier. Hygienists are gentle, yet efficient at cleanings. Front end is pleasant and knowledgeable of your dental insurance benefits #Ca$hCows X-Ray technology in the office is outdated and generated subpar, inconsistent images. Solo DDS likes to upsell everything. AVOID getting work done here & get 2nd opinion from more conservative dentist professional.

I HIGHLY RECOMOND NEVER GOING TO THIS DENTIST. Response back. I spoke with my insurance company an verified I was over charged and they are disputing the bill. Further I will be reporting this office to the state board for fraudulent billing practices. Original review below. I had a standard cleaning and checkup, which my insurance covers in full twice a year. After my cleaning i scheduled my next appointment and went to check out when I was told by the officer manager I owed $90 for the visit. This is inaccurate, based off the last 5 years of going to varies dentists. When I asked about the bill the office manager became rude and confrontational with me. I then proceeded to ask if I can pay at a later date so I can contact my insurance company to verify if these charges were accurate. She then started yelling at me to get out of the office and threating to call the police as I was walking out. I am behind speechless the way this office manager treated me. Not only was I inaccurately charged but when asked about it was threatened. This is not the first financial dispute I have had with this Dentist. It seems over charging and not saying anything until after your treated is standard practice here. For these reasons, rude office manager and shady billing practices, I will not be returning and recommend you think twice about this practice. Feel free to email me and I can elaborate further.
