As a leading kids dentist and orthodontist in Omaha, NE, we offer both pediatric dentistry and orthodontic treatment, allowing us to provide comprehensive care to help children develop a gorgeous smile. We take a holistic, overarching approach to dental treatment, working to provide preventive pediatric dental care as the smile develops. When the time is right, we also use orthodontic treatments like braces and Invisalign to help children get their best smile as they grow into adults. However, what truly sets us apart are the incredible Omaha, NE orthodontists and kids dentists on our team.
Dr. Strunk is a graduate of Creighton Dental School. She holds master's degrees in BOTH Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry from St. Louis University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center respectively. As such, Dr. Strunk is the ONLY dual trained specialist in Omaha, NE who can provide both orthodontics and pediatric dental needs to her patients at the same time. Dr. Strunk formerly taught orthodontics at Southern Illinois University Dental School and currently teaches orthodontics to the Pediatric Dental students at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has lectured to the Illinois Dental Society Bergan Mercy and Methodist Parenting classes. In addition, Dr. Strunk was chosen to be on the Cleft Lip and Palate Team during her pediatric dental residency. Dr. Strunk is a member of the American Dental Association, the Omaha District Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is past president of the Omaha Orthodontic Study Club and Nebraska Society of Dentistry for Children.
After attending Nebraska Wesleyan University, Dr. Dana earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska. Dr. Dana then graduated as a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Dana also earned her masters degree in Pediatric Medicine from the medical center. During her Masters and Residency Programs, Dr. Dana was a member of the Craniofacial team at Boys Town National Research Hospital.
Dr. Dana is involved with many different organized dental societies. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association and the Omaha District Dental Society. As a specialist, Dr. Dana is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Nebraska Dental Association and the American Society of Dentistry for Children, who awarded her with a Certificate of Merit in 1995. Dr. Dana is also a member of the American Association of Dental Research. On occasion, Dr. Dana has given presentations at national meetings of her original research with regard to fluoride and its mechanisms of action. Dr. Dana and her husband, Steve, have a daughter, Julia, and a son, Paxton.
Dr. Buss grew up in Wayne, NE, and attended Wayne State College for her undergraduate degree. She then attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, located in Childrens Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha. During residency, she completed clinical at Monroe Meyer Institute, Charles Drew Health Center, Boys Town Craniofacial Clinic, local Omaha elementary schools, and private practices in Hastings and Grand Island. She is a member of the Nebraska Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Nebraska Dental Association, Omaha District Dental Society, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. In her free time, Dr. Buss enjoys reading, trying new recipes, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Daniel, and their Bernedoodle, Kobe.

We have been bringing our daughter here since her very first appt about 7 years ago. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with all staff, our dentists, hygienists a d front of house staff. I highly recommend Pedodontics, PC

Best kids dentist in Omaha! We have been seeing Dr Dana for 16 years and we absolutely LOVE her!! From the quality of care (by Dr Dana and ALL her hygienists) to the great front office staff to the amazing billing lady, I refer this office all the time in all my mom groups, both in person and on social media.

My kids have been going to Pedodontics for about 4 years now after initially going for a second opinion. My oldest was terrified of the dentist, but after we switched she doesn't mind at all. Dr Dana has been wonderful and I always recommend Pedodontics.

My kids love the dentist now!! Yes--that's right! My 4 and 7 year old sons enjoy going to the dentist. I love the "independence" they're learning by going back to the wide open exam room alone. It teaches them confidence and I know they're behaving better without clinging to me. They also get to see the other kiddos being brave and having the same procedures done. Dr. Dana and her staff are so compassionate and gentle with the little ones! The end of visit prizes and new COOL toothbrushes help too!! Thanks Pedodontics PC!

I took my 3 year old daughter here for a routine check up and she loved it! Everyone is super sweet and the dental assistant and Dr.Boss we're extremely gentle and thorough with her! The office is kid friendly with multiple areas for children to play while waiting. While we were there they gave every child a ballon, stickers and a coin to get a surprise from the vending machine which help kept them busy and happy if they had to wait to see the Dentis. Our wait time was only 10 minutes and time inside the office was only about 15 minutes. I definitely recommend pedodontics!

We've taken the kids here since they were younger. And always loved it. However, we had a really bad sclerosis with my son, he was Waiting for a long time so by the time his procedure was done, he was so over it! He was 3 or 4 at the time. I recommend the office to be mindful of this and see the patients sooner, especially when the procedure will be dramatizing. Luckily, the place redeemed itself. Our last visit was been smooth, the dentist walked my son through the whole process and was seen right away. He's no longer scared to be seen at the dentist office.

Assistants gossip all the time. Went there for years and would constantly get poked and prodded to the point as they would yell across the room about their divorce. Would have to wait 30+ minutes for nurses to be ready, except they would be standing and talking instead of cleaning or prepping. Only stayed there until I finished my braces journey, which took WAY too long. For everything they did well, there were always two things that went wrong.

Was exclusively taking my kids to Dr. Strunk until my oldest needed braces. An Orthodontic consultation appointment was made and when I got there, the Dr told me she "didn't have time" for us. Totally unprofessional. I was then brought to a room and told how much I owe them for the treatment even though it was never discussed with me. They took x-rays twice and tried to charge me for it. Previous to that, she pulled two front baby teeth and he has had these teeth missing for 5 years! All it did is made his mouth worse. We may have to have these permanent teeth pulled down now with a chain, costing us more pain and money.

How fun! We moved my kids to this office with Dr. Dana after a referral there for a filling on my littlest. It was painless for him and I was so impressed by the personal care Dr. Dana gave him. Now, we see her regularly and my kids are teens. They love her and her staff. We've been so well cared for beyond just routine visits. She's gotten to know us!

We have had such an amazing experience with Dr Dana and her staff. Our family has been seeing her for 16 years! We could not ask for a better experience. The front staff is amazing! Kelly and Chris are amazing. The dental assistants have also always been wonderful.
