Born in Kansas, Dr. Marshall grew up in the Spring/Klein area of Houston in a family full of scientists and musicians. Her dad worked at NASA and her own proficiency on the piano and violin allowed her to perform at Carnegie Hall during her childhood. Raised with a deep love for science, medicine, and art, she was naturally drawn to a field that combined all three dentistry.
I want parents and kids to feel the same gentleness, warmth, and kindness I felt as a child when I visited my pediatric dentist. Those were great experiences and I want to create memories like that for the children we serve. I also think its really important for me to be a positive role model for children, teens, and the community.
Dr. Marshall earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry. Following her general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, she went on to complete her pediatric dental residency at Temple University in Philadelphia. She is an Ambassador of The Breathe Institute promoting proper airway health as well as providing pediatric solutions for tongue-ties and lip ties. She also holds Standard Proficiency Certification from The Academy of Laser Dentistry.
As a board-certified pediatric dentist practicing for over 10 years, Dr. Marshall is passionate about relationship-building and finds great joy in getting to know the children, parents, and families of those she serves. She has intentionally designed a kid-focused environment and a calm, gentle, and kind dental experience that will create great memories for patients and parents alike.
Beyond serving patients, she has a wide range of interests including salsa dancing, cooking classes, traveling, exploring ethnic foods, live music, museums and art galleries, people watching, volunteering in local and international communities, and hanging out with family and friends. From the NBA to the NFL and Formula 1 racing, she loves watching professional sports. Her favorite ballet is The Nutcracker, on Broadway she prefers Hamilton and The Lion King, and on the big screen, she enjoys kids ' films like 'Trolls' and anything by Pixar.

Amazing staff! All of the ladies in the office are wonderful and so sweet including the assistant and the doctor herself! My son who had a horrible experience at his last dentist office felt so comfortable here and did not even cry at all. They did so well with him. Highly recommend this office, we don't plan to go anywhere else!

we come here for both our daughters ,the whole staff is Friendly, personable, and cheery ! absolutely love visiting the dentist because the staff communicates well, and DrMarshall is nice and honest with us. Love this Dentist have been satisfied since they first opened !!

Everything about this dentist office is amazing. 10/10 would recommend. The team here is so good with kids and I couldn't ask for better results. We got a crown and filling and appointment was within same week as calling. I will definitely be back (:

Everyone from the front desk to the dentist was polite. The whole building smelled like it was the billboard for a scent company, it smelt that good. My dental hygienist was so patient with my daughter. The dentist didn't make me feel like a bad mom either since my daughter had cavities. She gave a plan to correct t it first and said we would take further steps if it got worse. I appreciated that bc most dentist would ha very slapped caps on them. I drive almost 40 mins to this place and it is worth the drive.

This office is adorable with all the bells and whistles however this office has managed to make me feel like an absent parent and very judged for the quality of dental hygiene my daughters have every visit they've had here. I take accountability but let us remember that none of us know each other's situations and doing the best you can doesn't always translate that way to others in a different situation. I am thankful to the Lord for the available resources granted to my children with insurance and access to dental care because not everyone has this luxury so it would be nice to find a dentist that won't have you as a parent leaving with a sense of failure or like you're a disappointment. The Dental assistant that cleaned one of my daughters mouths today (both of my daughters are patients)commented on my daughters looks she said..."you are such a pretty girl don't you want your teeth to be pretty like you" her teeth are part of her and that comment rubbed me the wrong way because we're so quick to point out other's flaws when it comes to appearance when clearly her faded out once purple brittle hair doesn't help her pretty face either. It's just wrong.

Update: I missed a call from the dentist of this business. Based on the message, it seems like they believe my complaint is about HER or about an "accidental misspelling". I would like to CLARIFY. My rating and complaint is about the experience I had attempting to schedule an appointment with this dentist. I was excited because the recommendation came from a great office that has a wonderful staff and an awesome dentist. Also, the reviews here say the dentist is great. I called to schedule and had the below experience. A misspelling is in and of itself and accident, I never accused anyone of spelling my son's name wrong on purpose. I mentioned it because I was already looking to ignore the off experience I had with scheduling, THEN started getting emails with my child's name wrong. I also, never tried to appear to have visited the office. I tried to call back, but they were already closed. I gave an extra star for effort. ---- Can't get past the scheduling to even see what it's like there (which in my experience - the staff of a business make or break an experience). I called for an appointment and when the first two suggestions did not work for my calendar, the woman put me on hold. Then when she came back, she asked if I found my calendar...??? I told her I was looking at my calendar (that's how I know I could not bring my child to either of the two dates/times suggested), then said 'I thought I was waiting on you'... then she asked, 'when can you bring your child?' She seemed annoyed that her suggestions did not work for my schedule. Then when I received the sign in forms in my email, someone had my child's name spelled wrong. His name is spelled with THREE letters... how do you mess that up???????????????

We had a great experience! They made both of my kids feel comfortable and they explained everything to them (and me). Dr. Marshall is amazing with kids! The office is clean and the entire staff is accommodating. Both of my kids are excited to go back!

I did not know what to expect when I brought in my daughter to see Dr. Marshall yesterday. My daughter has had bad experiences with visiting dental offices in past. Initially I decided on this office because the Dr. specializes in children and they offer drugs if the kids need to be sedated. I thought that we would need that. Luckily we did not have to go that route. The office was comfortable as we came in. The front office person was kind to us. When they called us back, I let the tech now right away that I was concerned that my daughter would become emotional and resist treatment. She right away jump in to build trust with my daughter. LaRhanda is an angel. She made my daughter so comfortable every step of the way. She informed my daughter of every single action she would be taking ahead of time. The doctor was also very pleasant. I am very happy with the results of the visit. The doctor removed plaque from my daughters teeth and I thought we would have to come back for that treatment but she completed the task within the same day. I was so happy with this visit that I am moving my other daughter to this office. My kids are to visit LaRhanda and Dr. Marshall for their next cleanings.
