A Jacksonville, Florida native, Dr. Staci Suggs received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh before earning the Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Suggs love for children inspired her to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Suggs follows the Total Patient concept which includes focusing not only on dental health but also the total health and development of children.
Dr. Matthew Smith earned a B.S. degree at Brigham Young University in Finance. He was accepted to the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
After Dental School Dr. Smith became partner of a general dental practice in Colorado Springs and lived there for four years before deciding to pursue a specialty in Orthodontics. He moved to Jacksonville for residency where he specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D) at Jacksonville University.

I take both of my kids there and we always have such an easy and nice experience. All of the staff members are extremely kind and professional. Our dental assistant was Freddy and he was super sweet to my daughter. I highly recommend this office.

Office staff isn't open for conversation to hear circumstances and became hostile and rude. Medical emergencies are taken seriously here; I would look elsewhere for dental needs.

My family and I have been patients at Pediatric Smiles on Dunn Avenue for the past five years and the customer service we receive has always been great! I also appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is. Finding a family practice that knows and values us is important to my wife and I. Fortunately we feel like we have found that at Pediatric Smiles.

I can not say enough good things about this location. I have some OSCAR AWARD WINNING children who are terrified of the dentist. Like kicking screaming on the floor. The entire staff from start to finish were AMAZING with my children. They were clean, thorough at explaining and teaching, calm, gentle and so sweet. 10/10 100% recommend for any children but especially the scared ones!! Both of my children made me promise to never switch dentist offices. We are here to stay!!

I was in search of a good pediatric dentist for my 2 year old bottle sucking son. I love the feel of Pediatric Smiles the atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming and staff were very friendly. He was a little hesitant and resistant as any 2 year old would be. However, the staff was gentle (overly to me) but absolutely great. I would definitely recommend Pediatric smiles.

I have been going to Pediatric Smiles since I was 4. They are the best. I went to the Southside location for many years and I have recently transferred to the Dunn Avenue location. The staff is amazing and welcoming at both locations. I have never had a bad experience and I will continue to come here. I would recommend Pediatric Smiles to anyone looking for a dentist.

My daughter, 5, enjoyed her experience from start to finish. My son, 3, leaned back and watched cartoons the whole time he was getting his teeth cleaned. They are so gentle and kind with their patients and I couldn't have found a better dental office for my children. My children are not scared of the dentist and actually look forward to returning. My kids are comfortable here. The staff is extremely good about trying to make things go smoothly and about making it a comfortable experience. They are very friendly and respectful. I have always been given details about a treatment plan upfront and have never had any surprise issues come up. I have been made aware of all costs associated with the treatment plans in advance also. Thank you pediatric smiles!!!!!

Ashley is amazing with my daughter Michelle. She's autistic and always wants to help with her appointment and Ashley knows how to allow her to help while performing a great cleaning and exam. Michelle loves going to the dentist here!
