Born and raised in Stockton, CA, Dr. Francois completed dental school at the University of the Pacific and a two-year pediatric dental specialty residency at the University of Illinois. He found the Kansas City Northland was the perfect place to grow roots and raise his young family.
He has spent the past five years serving patients in the area and is excited to start a practice of his own. His wife, Amie, grew up in Liberty and they are both happy to be part of this wonderful community.
When he is not seeing patients at the office, Dr. Francois maintains a faculty position at Childrens Mercy Hospital. As an active member of the community, he also sits on the board of Miles of Smiles, a non-profit organization that provides dental care to underserved children in the Northland.
He is an avid runner, computer nerd, and Golden State Warriors Fan. He loves spending time coaching his sons basketball team and taking road trips. He and his wife have two sons, Evan and Ethan, a cat named Lily and a dog named Ellie.

The assistants were very good with both my sons. The one working with my autistic son was very though in explaining what was happening to help him feel comfortable.

We visited recently for check ups and the hygienists and Dr. Francois were so patient with my daughter. She had a hard time with the X-rays and they went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable. They've taken phenomenal care of my son in the past and I cannot recommend this office enough!

Everyone is so nice. The kids love being able to watch what they want while getting their cleanings. They don't mind going to the dentist every 6 months.

I've been a long time patient here, and each visit has always been great! The staff are all very friendly and efficient, and have always been able to make me feel welcomed (since i was a young kid all the way to now, about aged out) :)

We had an emergency dental situation and as new patients, I was thrilled with how quickly the office got us in for a consultation. My daughter was nervous but the dental assistant was so nice and relatable and made my 9 year old daughter feel comfortable and at ease, singing Encanto songs with her. When we came back for her procedure, Dr Francois was great! He was kind and really good at distracting my daughter and making her feel at ease. My daughter said she didn't feel a thing! Would definitely recommend and will be making this our regular dentist!

My daughter had her very 1st Dental appointment today and I was really nervous. All my butterflies were put to rest immediately, the staff is wonderful. They let me baby be her normal busy self until it was time for cleaning. The dentist asst turned on Moana for her and spoke calmly to her while she explained everything she was going to do before proceeding. Everyone was kind, patient, and caring. My baby is only 1 and she did very well with the help of the staff making her very comfortable. I absolutely love this place and will always highly recommend!

Brought my 2 and a half year old in for her first dentist appointment and the staff was amazing! Very involved and helped keep my 2 year old calm during her teeth exam. Very friendly. the main dentist worked well with our daughter, talking to her and made it seem fun! Wife and I were very pleased!

My daughter had her first appointment today at 22 months. She hasn't had a lot of interaction with people outside her dad and I. The staff were so wonderful with her. They accommodated for her age appropriate needs and special considerations related to lack of exposure to others. They were organized and detailed. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Dr. Francois and his team are so professional and friendly- from the initial booking, check-in/out, all the way to the end of the appointment. They really make something that can be quite scary for both kids and parents a breeze. My son had to get a tooth pulled and some other work done today, and the Assistant Brei quickly understood that he was scared and took swift action to make sure he was at ease. She explained everything to him and reassured him (and me). For the procedure, Dr. Francois was fun, friendly, fast, gentle, and efficient. Dr. Francois and Brei answered all our questions and gave me tips for aftercare, as well as how to prepare for the next visit. They also gave us tips on how to take better care of our teeth so we have a good second chance with permanent teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Francois and his team to anyone looking for a great place to teach your kids how to have fun taking care of their teeth!
