As a board certified Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Shepherd has focused his practice on a passion for non-invasive dentistry for children. He graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He takes great pride in developing caring relationships with patients, making visiting the dentist a great experience for both the child and parents. This Our Own Child philosophy has carried him into community involvement with children having less fortunate dental needs in areas of Utah and throughout the world.
Having taught 5th grade prior to dental school, Dr. Anderson learned the importance of making every new experience fun for your child. He brings to our pediatric dental team an added passion to make all visits to the dentist not only fun, but safe, and educational. Dr. Anderson graduated dental school with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital, which is ranked the #3 childrens hospital in the nation.
Dr. Anderson feels blessed that he gets the opportunity to give back to not only the community by providing great dental care, but to parts of the world as well. Every year, he goes on a humanitarian trip to Honduras to provide free dental work to Hondurans who normally wouldnt have access to the type of world-class care he provides to them. Dr. Anderson has provided relief to hundreds of people in Honduras and looks forward to the trip each year.
Dr. Anderson's family of six moved back to Utah in 2017 to enjoy all the outdoor activities. They enjoy skiing, paddle boarding, hiking, and mountain biking. When not working or spending time outdoors, Dr. Anderson is involved in the community through coaching multiple sports teams each hour. He also enjoys searching for great new restaurants in the Utah and Salt Lake Valleys.
Dr. Tracy Law is a dedicated and compassionate Dentist. Dr. Law has engaged in comprehensive pediatric treatment for the past 24 years. Dr. Law exclusively treats patients from infancy to young adulthood, and he truly values his time with all of his patients. Dr. Law loves to make his patients laugh and always makes it a priority to know that they are relaxed and comfortable at all times.
Dr. Law attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah for his undergraduate degree in biology. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond Virginia. From there his schooling took him to the University of California San Francisco where he completed his general practice residency. He enjoys many other activities outside the dental office. He has coached youth football, been a scoutmaster and been the head coach for El Diamante High Schools track and field. Dr. Law is married and has three kids of his own, he also has 5 grandchildren. In his free time Dr. Law enjoys spending time outdoors, cycling and skiing. Most importantly, after being away from Utah for 34 years, Dr. Law is so excited to be back home!
Dr. Bowen Miles is a phenomenal Orthodontist. He has been treating patients for 30 years. Dr. Miles is a diamond member of invisalign and believes that invisalign is a powerful orthodontic tool for hygienic and esthetic treatment. Dr. Miles started his schooling at BYU, where he got his BA from the Department of Classical and Asian Languages. He then started his orthodontic training at USC, where he developed many concepts that he still uses today.
Some fun facts about Dr. Miles: he enjoys golf, loves to walk his dog, participate in church activities, and have dinner with his friends. Dr. Miles loves to spend time with his family and travel, though COVID has put a damper on that recently. Dr. Miles likes to sing and has had the opportunity to sing with the Desert Chorale, a community choir in Las Vegas. He is also a big fan of Garrison Keillor, BYU sports, the Utah Jazz, the Manhattan Transfer, and the suspense of mystery novels.
