Dr. Sara Ehsani and Dr. Ali Bayat are board-certified pediatric dentists. They have specialized training in caring for the physical and emotional needs of children, including those with special needs.

We are one of the few offices in Garland that features the newest, non-invasive treatments for arresting dental cavities. We also offer treatment using the latest laser technology for soft-tissue surgeries, such as tongue- and lip-tie releases. In addition, we provide sedation and general anesthesia services in ouroffice and at the Childrens Medical Center of Dallas.

We provide Invisalign clear aligners and Myobrace functional appliances for children and adults. We are the only pediatric dental office in the DFW area to provide Invisalign treatment to children and adults.

Dr. Bayat received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and completed a one-year training in general practice residency in Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In 2011, Dr. Bayat obtained his certificate in pediatric dentistry from prestigious Yale University New Haven Hospital.

During his training, he had the opportunity to work with medically compromised patients and those with special needs. He is trained in all facets of pediatric dentistry, including general anesthesia, sedation, and behavior management. He has been practicing in the Dallas area since graduation and he loves working in such a wonderful community.

His extensive experience in the field and past training have made him a knowledgeable practitioner. He stays up to date with the most recent research and literature to provide the best care possible for his patients. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that he has made a difference in so many lives.

Dr. Bayat is married to his best friend, Dr. Sara. Apartfromtheir pure passion for creating perfect smiles and promoting healthy oral habits, they spend their free time with family and friends. They both like to cook, exercise, and travel.

Dr. Sara has a strong passion for serving others and has committed much of her time contributing to society with the ultimate goal of improving oral health. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially building long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Sara completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she graduated cum laude, followed by a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Connecticut. She earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry at UCONN and graduated as chief resident.

During her residency program, Dr. Sara received extensive training in all facets of dental care, including growth and development of children, adolescents, and caring for infants and patients with special needs. Dr. Sara is board certified by and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and she has won numerous awards in the field of dentistry, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Residents Recognition Award.

Dr. Sara is active in the community and organized dentistry. She is an essential member of the Dallas County Dental Society Membership Development Committee and a delegate to the Texas Dental Association. In addition, she is one of the initiators of Community Pathways to Leadership, a program that empowers women dentists to create their own communities and advance the success of women in dentistry. She has also volunteered multiple times in Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day.

Dr. Sara has contributed a significant amount of time to patient care, education, research, and community service. She is committed to staying current with the latest in technology in order to provide the greatest health benefits to patients. She participates in numerous continuing education activities and is the only pediatric dentist in DFW area who performs Invisalign treatment for kids and adults.

Dr. Sara is also an innovative researcher. One of her greatest accomplishments is havingpublishedthirteen articles on various topics, including laser, pediatrics, surgery, dental materials, and radiology. She presented her research, in oral and poster formats, at several dental conferences. Her current research focuses on oral health literacy.

Dr. Shakourian grew up in Boston and completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry at Boston University. She received her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shakourian moved to Michigan to start her orthodontic residency at University of Detroit Mercy.

Dr. Shakourians personal philosophy is to treat her patients with honesty, compassion, transparency, and the highest standard of care. For her, the most rewarding part of being an orthodontist is the lasting friendships she creates with her patients.
