This is the most kid friendly and welcoming environment for your child's dental needs I've experienced. We were lucky to return here after covid affected our initial insurance, but luckily we did as the prior office refused to remove my daughters 5 remaining cavities referring us to another location for sedation. The POW office were able to remove all cavities within two visits without any sedation or laughing gas. My 5 yr old did not cry or experience fear of the injections for numbing as the other office assumed would be the case. I highly recommend. Ps I stopped in after searching 4 different stores for travel size toothpaste to pack my daughters travel kit and received 2 complimentary tubes. It's the little things. Thank you Pow

I've only had good experiences at pow and that was after dental visits were not as successful at other more older patient focused offices. I'd recommend POW highly and we've had everything from routine checkups to extensive work done.

Place is amazing! We took our son here and he loved it. There's alot of thought out into this place. Also my son is autistic and terrified of dentist and this place did everything they could to make him comfortable! Love it! BTW- I saw a comment below with a lady complaining they were treated differently cause they were asian...umm the dentist is asian so i don't know the context of it that but don't let that effect you from giving this place a chance. Also, it's located in Albany, where the population is primarily asian.

(March 5h, 2021) They are extremely rude and impolite to loyal customers. We have been there for years. My six-year-old daughter was very looking forward to the dental visit this morning. Before our visit, she even said she wanted to tell her teacher about her dental visit today. But we are treated differently this time during COVID because we are Asian females. I am so sad and do not know how to explain to my daughter about the experience we encountered today.

They are extremely rude and impolite to loyal customers. We have been there for years. My six-year-old daughter was very looking forward to the dental visit this morning. Before our visit, she even said she wanted to tell her teacher about her dental visit today. But we are treated differently this time during COVID because we are Asian females. I am so sad and do not know how to explain to my daughter about the experience we encountered today.

Always had a great experience and during covid they followed procedures and I felt confident. They looked after my son very well with a small emergency and continue to look after his teeth well. Front office were very helpful to arrange coverage going out of their way to get a referral.

They are extremely rude and impolite to customers! Not coming back anymore and not recommended! Especially the office manager, Jeff, He is extremely rude and impolite! If The dental office continue to keep this employee, they will lost most of the customers!

We've been taking our 3 kids here for several years (since the twins were 2 and the other 6) and have had positive experiences. They make an effort to make kids feel comfortable and get used to the dental process. We've only seen Dr. Valdez

We have been visiting Dr. Valdez in Concord for 2 years. and we are so happy now we are able to keep visiting Dr.Valdez in POW (5 minutes drive from our home). My daughter has heavy cavities, Dr.Valdez gave my daughter very professional treatments. And Dr. Valdez is also very patient and considerate. She care her patients and willing to understand parents as well. Her sub-staffs are also very professional and caring.

They are extremely rude and impolite to customers! Not coming back anymore and not recommended! Especially the office manager, Jeff, He is extremely rude and impolite! If The dental office continue to keep this employee, they will lost most of the customers!

The office manager, Jeff, is a jerk. He is extremely rude, impolite and most probably needs psychiatric help. He is ticked-off by asking the simplest question or request like changing appointment or checking the insurance coverage or alternative treatment estimate. Dr. So is doing a mediocre job, there is nothing especial about him too and I am sure he is aware of his front desk behaviors with costumers and doesn't care about it; only cares about ripping off the insurance company and costumers!

We have been taking my daughter here for several years. She is ELATED to go to the dentist every time and it blows my mind. The staff has treated us well and she loves Dr. Vivian. Couldn't recommend the office more and the Superhero themes are executed to perfection.

Called to schedule a dental appointment for my toodler and I was turned away because they don't accept medi cal. It sucks when we have to travel out of area becauae our local dentist office doesn't accept our insurance Athem BlueCross Medical.
