Dr. Alina OBrien received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University andcompleted the postbaccalaureate Health Careers program at Harvard University Extension School. She earned her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and completed specialty post-graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry from New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, where she servedas Chief Resident.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Alina is part of a study team at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine researching the prevention of early childhood caries. Dr. Alina is also an activemember the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society, and is a past board member of the Hispanic Dental Association.She has received numerous leadership, academic, and research awards at the different institutions and organizations she has been involved with.
Dr. Alina is a native New Yorker who was raised in downtown Manhattan. She is excited to practice in the city she grew up in. When she is not working, Dr. Alina enjoys cooking, reading, and walking in Central Park with her husband and their rescue dog.
Dr. Ron Kosinski is a pediatric dentist and anesthesiologist at Pediatric Dentists NYC. He comes to us from Long Island, where he was the Chief and Program Director at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Childrens Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. In 2014, he moved to the New York University College of Dentistry, where was Director of Sedation and Anesthesia. In 2018, Dr. Kosinski was named Clinical Director at the NYUs Oral Health Center for People With Disabilities. Dr. Kosinski was instrumental in its design and implementation.
Dr. Lois Jackson is the founding partner of Pediatric Dentists NYC, specializing in the treatment of all children and teens. She is a graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, earning both a dental degree and a specialty degree in pediatric dentistry. She also completed a general practice residency in the trauma center at Montefiore Medical Center, which provided valuable experience in emergency care.
Dr. Jackson says her favorite part of being a pediatric dentist is the kids. Her patients are treated with consideration to their treatment needs, but also to who they are as individuals. The opportunity to provide personalized dental care and create a positive attitude toward good oral health for each patient is her goal. She strives to create smiles!
As part of her commitment to children and their well-being, Dr. Jackson serves on the board of Camp Brooklyn, an organization that sends children to sleep away camp. This project makes lifetime memories for the campers who would not ordinarily have this experience. Dr. Jackson is also on the board of Flatbush Development Corporation, which maintains the urban experience for all community residents by funding after-school and summer programs for children and community events, among other programs. She is also a member of the Board of Advisors at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and the Executive Committee of the New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Jackson travels extensively through the United States and will soon have visited every state and many national parks. She is a frequent visitor to New Orleans for the food, music and good times. She is an avid moviegoer and enjoys documentaries in particular. The Sundance Film Festival is a frequent vacation destination.
Dr. Adam Silevitch (Dr. Adam) is a partner at Pediatric Dentists NYC. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Born and raised in the Boston area, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and his dental degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, before completing specialized post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry from Columbia University, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Adams favorite part of the job is creating long-lasting bonds with his patients and their parents. He says, I strive to make going to the dentist an amazing experience and something every child looks forward to!
In his free time, Dr. Adam enjoys spending time with his dog Daisy and his son Teddy, yoga, golf (if he ever gets the time!) and rooting for all of his beloved Boston sports teams. He lives in Brooklyn.

The dental care was as always wonderful! But on the other hand, we were asked to come for a 5:30pm appointment and my daughter was seen 40minutes later and ended up having her dinner too late as she had to wait an hour before eating This is not right when a timing is advanced and then we are made to wait so long. I am quite upset about this.

Far and away the best dentist in NYC. Not just the best pediatric dentist. Dr. Jackson and her crew treat every child like their own, and are both compassionate and no-nonsense. She has the subtlest touch and the utmost skill. She's as good as it gets. I've been seeing the doc since I was 7, and hope she lets me keep coming until I no longer need teeth!

Dr Adam is great dentist who is wonderful with kids. We've been seeing home for at least 5 years. He's engaged and explains things at a child's level. I don't think you will find another dentist that compares to his bedside manner.

We love visiting Dr. Jackson! Our kids are always excited to go. The hygienist, a.k.a. the Tooth Fairy, is excellent. Dr. Jackson explains everything, makes the whole experience stress free and has a wonderful chair side personality.

Terrible, will never return, they care about making a profit not your child. Bad energy from the staff almost felt like a zoo thats how congested the place was. Save your money and your child from this place. Soho location.
