She completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA in 1992. Dr. Salimi has received several awards for her efforts in the community, and the American Society of Dentistry for Children Award of Merit for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry.
She has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA and UCSF Departments of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Salimi is a Past-President of the San Francisco Dental Society. She is an active member of American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ida highly enough! I was dreading what it would be like for my 8yo son to get a cavity filled but Dr. Ida and her entire time made my son so at ease...afterwards, he said "that was nothing!" Phew!

We love Pediatric Dentistry! All the staff and Dr. Gorshteyn are so friendly, and make our feel kids feel at ease and excited to come to the dentist! I can't recommend them enough!!

Checkin was smooth. Kids always loving coming here. Cleaning and the xray is also seamless for little kids. Doctor Ida is super special. She seems really knowledeable and explains everything very well. Best of all she in inclined to give things a chance to resolve organically if possible in place of invasive procedures.

Dr. Ida Gorshteyn is carrying on Dr. Salimi's excellent care. Dr. Gorshteyn is friendly, caring and professional. My kids always feel comfortable and fully served during their dental visits. I highly recommend this dentist. The front and back office staff are also kind and professional.

We have been coming here for years and love the team! The environment is kid friendly, and they have a good selection of shows to watch. Our kids are always relaxed and have a good association with visiting the dentist. Pediatric Dentistry has ticked all the boxes making each experience positive.
