Dr. Ramos is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a graduate of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine-Bostons Childrens Hospital, where he received his Pediatric Dental specialty training.
He is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine for the past 21 years. Dr. Ramos provides Pediatric Dental care for infants, children, adolescents and children with special needs.
Dr. Delfiner is a native New Yorker who was raised in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. Dr. Alexs mother is a general dentist, and after seeing her moms passion and dedication to the profession, Dr. Alex was inspired to pursue a career in both dentistry and academics.
Dr. Russo graduated with honors from Rutgers University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was accepted into dental school at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and graduated Valedictorian of his dental class. His achievements were recognized by several academic fraternal societies which gave him awards in excellence and scholarship.
In his spare time he completed and Oral Surgery Externship at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Dr. Russo pursued his post-doctoral studies at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, earning Certifications in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He also achieved Basic and Advanced Certifications in the Diagnosis, Management and Treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) and Orofacial Pain.
Dr. Papasikos earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Ivy-league dental training at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, graduating top of his class.
Dr. Park achieved her masters degree in Science & Dental Education in 2018 from the Teachers College at Columbia University in New York. While completing her masters degree, she also obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York that same year. Dr. Park completed her residency for pediatric dentistry in 2020 from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in New York as she was Chief Resident.
Mario E. Ramos is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a graduate of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine-Bostons Childrens Hospital, where he received his Pediatric Dental specialty training. He is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine for the past 21 years. Dr. Ramos provides Pediatric Dental care for infants, children, adolescents and children with special needs.
He is a past Board of Trustee member and Chairman of the Council on Continuing Education for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a past member and consultant for the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition for the American Dental Association. He is past president of the National Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Ramos is a volunteer dentist at the Boys and Girls Club of Newark, Evas Village and Oasis in Paterson, NJ. Dr. Ramos has lectured on a variety of Pediatric Dental topics both nationally and internationally.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Ramos has been chosen by his peers every year as a Top Dentist in Pediatric Dentistry in New Jersey Monthly magazine. He is a lifelong resident of New Jersey, fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with his four boys.
Dr. Alexandra Delfiner is a native New Yorker who was raised in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. Dr. Alexs mother is a general dentist, and after seeing her moms passion and dedication to the profession, Dr. Alex was inspired to pursue a career in both dentistry and academics.
She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Alex then headed back to NYC to Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she earned both her dental degree and completed a specialized post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry. She is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Russo also obtained a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology from the Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Science. Dr. Russo successfully completed the requirements of the Northeast Regional Dental Board, Florida Dental Board and is American Board of Orthodontics Board Eligible.
Dr. Russo is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists and Ridgewood Study Club.

Such a pleasant first dentist appointment for my son today with Kim and Dr. Ramos. Kim was so great with my 3 yr old. She showed and explained everything and really made him comfortable through it all. Dr. Ramos was just as thorough and wonderful. Highly recommend this office.

My children have been patients here for years, starting with my oldest who's now 24. After all these years, service is still THE BEST. Friendly, kind, professional and a great experience each time. We absolutely love it!

I've been taking my 3 children to Dr. Ramos for 22 years. Dr. Ramos is exceptional and is always amazing, friendly and personable with our family. He remembers all their names, what their up to and truly interested in their well being. My insurance has changed a few times and I've chosen to pay out of pocket because my children's comfort and seeing Dr. Ramos is more important. We've also seen Dr. Russo (orthodontist) and he's always been great. My oldest is now almost 24 and still goes to Dr. Ramos, it would be a sad day when all 3 of my kids age out of this pediatric office. Thank you Dr. Ramos for leading your staff (you're only as good as your staff) and providing the BEST customer service EVER! S.O to Roxy, one of our fave staff members!!!! The Mercado's

I almost started crying from relief and appreciation during our appointment. My almost 4yo daughter had a really bad experience with dentist appointments at a different practice so I was nervous going in, but the practice came highly recommended by my dentist. From the moment we walked in, it was a completely different experience. The receptionist took my daughter for a lap around the office and showed her all of the different themed rooms, pointing out animals and asking my daughter questions. When it was time for her appointment, Dr. Ramos was warm and very conversational. He took the time to explain each thing he was doing, counting on her fingers and using the toothbrush (which looked like a zebra) on her fingers before going near her mouth so she'd know what to expect. Having her favorite show on the TV in the ceiling also helped! Admittedly, she did get a bit worked up about half way through the brushing, but seeing as her prior dentist never even got through counting her teeth and expected me to basically sit on top of my child to try and finish counting... this was a significantly improved experience. And even when she was getting worked up, Dr. Ramos and his technician stayed very calm, kept saying reassuring things to my daughter and did what they could to redirect her focus. By the time Dr. Ramos was done applying the fluoride (or "princess sparkles"), my daughter was already laughing again. As we left my daughter was asking if we could come back and be in the Outer Space room next time. I'm incredibly thankful for showing my daughter that the dentist doesn't have to be a bad experience. I wish I had switched us to this practice sooner.

My daughter started experiencing tooth pain and swelling over the weekend. I called the office to get an appointment but since it was closed I left a message. Dr. Ramos returned two phone calls to me, after hours, with patience and care; even though she wasn't his patient. We have seen Dr. Jenni twice and both times, she handled my daughter with the utmost care. From the moment my anxious daughter walked into the office, she was cared for. The woman at the front desk took great tine in calming her by engaging with her. Lucy took her X-Rays with patience and expertise. And most of all, Jennifer, the Dental Assistant, not only cared for my daughter professionally, but also with so much care. I was so grateful that while I was speaking with the dentist, that she so maternally cared for my crying daughter. She knew exactly what to do and say to make the experience the best possible. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this office and its entire staff really deserve the accolades.

As a 1st time patient my son's experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Christine, at the front desk, was very friendly, thorough and accommodating to my sons needs. Dr Ramos and Dr Russo made my son feel at ease and very comfortable. A beautiful, clean and positive environment as well. Thanks to you all. The hour drive was worth every minute!! Thank you Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Midland Park, NJ. I can always find a place to park in your lot and your office is calm, clean and comfortable. It is always pleasant to speak with you on the phone or in person and you make it easy to schedule our 3 teenage children with very busy sports schedules. The dentists, orthodontist and hygienists for dental and orthodontics are great. Most recently my children have had care from Dr. Ramos and Dr. Russo.
