Dr. Meghan Alexander is committed to providing quality orthodontic care in a fun and comfortable environment for children and adults. She is passionate about working one-on-one with her patients to create their ideal smile.
Dr. Alexander earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from McGill University where she received several awards for academic achievement. After completing a residency in general dentistry at the University of Connecticut, she went on to pursue specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Rochester.
Learning is a life-long journey and participation in continuing education keeps Dr. Alexander current with the latest technologies, methods, and treatments. She regularly attends continuing education courses at a local, national and international level. Dr. Alexander is also an active member of several dental and orthodontic societies and study groups.
Originally from Canada, Dr. Alexander is proud to call Connecticut her home along with her husband and their three children. Outside of the dental office, she loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and being outdoors.
By providing warm, friendly patient care, she helps make orthodontic treatment a positive experience for all of her patients. After nearly 10 years of practicing orthodontics in both private orthodontic and multi-specialty practices, she is excited to join the team at Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics!

This was my sons first visit into the office and it couldn't have gone better. The office is full of visually stimulating decorations to make it feel like it's not a scary dental office to kids. Pam was super quick, gentle and gave plenty of positive affirmations during the visit. The doctor gave plenty of great advice to help our family care for our teeth. We can't wait to come back again!

My daughter is 3, this was her third time here. The dentist was greattt. However, the dental hygienist bribed my daughter throughout the cleaning process with picking a prize out of their "treasure box" when done. My daughter did great up until it was time for the dentist to put fluoride on her teeth. I knew this would be tough because My daughter struggles with foods and was in feeding therapy for a while due to this. However, She ended up letting the dentist put fluoride on the front of her teeth. My daughter asked for the prize out of the "treasure" and the dental Hygienist basically told her no because she didn't deserve it. I was shocked. She's 3! My daughter cried the entire ride home and for the rest of the night could not stop saying she has a "bad dentist". Idk, I just feel like that was extremely mean especially since my daughter wasn't even bad.

Every experience at Pediatric Dentistry has been wonderful. They are kind to my children, answer all my questions/concerns and there is barely a wait time. They know bith of my kids by name and give them the attention they need. The office staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming! I wouldn't change them for anything!

The dentist walked in without even introducing himself I only heard the medical assistant said Dr B. He just pull my 2 years old and did not even asked her if she can or that he going to clean her teeth. That is not professional. Also he didn't even appropriately clean them and didn't also ask if we have questions. I'm going to request another Dentist. of find another place.

Took our 20 month old daughter here for her 1st dental appt. My baby girl was taken care of with patience and a warm smile no matter how much she fought her first cleaning. Everyone here was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
