Dr. Kirby Chambers Hoetker is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist holding a diplomate status in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a native of Shelby County where she graduated from Shelby County High School. She received her Bachelor of Science and Dental Degree at the University of Kentucky. Upon completion of her dental degree, she remained in Lexington for two additional years and was awarded her specialty certificate in hospital-based pediatric dentistry in 2002.
Dr. Kirby returned to her hometown in 2002 to open Pediatric Dentistry of Shelbyville. She is an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, the Kentucky Association of Pediatric Dentistry. She and her husband Matt live in Simpsonville with their two children, John Wyatt and Virginia Tate.

Wonderful is all I can say! My son's tooth broke late Friday and was able to get in to see Dr. Kirby that following Monday! Staff is great, I cannot say how pleased we are to now be official patients (well my kiddos)

Dr. Kirby and her entire office were fantastic. She answered all of my questions, gave me options, and explained the treatment plan. My toddler was absolutely losing it while we talked and they were so patient with him and weren't bothered by the tantrum. The whole office was welcoming and helpful, and that alone eased my nerves tremendously. Dr. Kirby is absolutely worth the 2.5 hour drive, I know my kiddo is in good hands with her.
