Dr. Amybeth Harmon is a 1997 graduate of the University of the Pacific Dental School, San Francisco, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She completed her pediatric residency program at Louisiana State University and Childrens Hospital in 1999. She was honored with the Charles Pop Sweet Award for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. Upon completing her residency, she followed in her fathers footsteps and began practicing at Pediatric Dentistry of Pleasant Hill.
While in college, Dr. Amybeth accompanied her father on a dental mission trip to Guatemala. This inspired her desire to become a pediatric dentist. She has since travelled to the Dominican Republic, where she and staff provided dental care to very poor children. While on this trip, her husband Steven built water fountains to provide clean drinking water.
She and her family support Harbor House in Oakland and make bags for the homeless of Bay Area Rescue Misson. A very rewarding experience for her is traveling on mission trips to provide dental care to underserved children.
Dr. Jay Golinveaux is a 2008 graduate of the University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco. He completed his pediatric residency program at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Jennifer LaRocque earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1999. Her pediatric dentistry residency and certificate in pediatric dentistry were awarded in 2001 by the University of Southern California.
Dr. Jennifer loves to run, read, and travel, but her greatest love is time with her husband Gene and their two teenage daughters, Natalia and Julianna. Once a month, the family volunteers to make 100 bagged lunches for the homeless in Oakland. In addition,Dr. Jennifer is currentlyinvolved with National Charity League, a volunteer mother/daughter organization.
Dr. Joyce Bright received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her residency training and specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry at the University of Southern California/Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Much of Dr. Joyces free time is spent going on big and little adventures with her husband and son. She also enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, traveling, and exploring new places. As a Samaritan House volunteer dentist, Dr. Joyce treatsthe oral health needs of the underserved in our community. She also participates in community services through her church.
