Going to the dentist doesnt have to be a negative experience! Because of their young age, I have the unique opportunity to help shape my patientsviews and opinions ofdentistry, as well as educatethem about their oral health so they will understand the importance of a healthy smile as an adult!
My team is an extension of my philosophy. We treat each child as we would our own. By treating our patients with warmth and compassion, we invite a more pleasant and comfortable experience for them. We also reward our cavity-free patients by hanging their pictures on our cavity-free wall and entering their names in a drawing for a gift card.
I attended the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry,cum laude. My dental education was completed at the Medical University of South Carolina, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I continued atthe Medical College of Georgia, where I received my pediatric dental training.
My passion for staying uptothemoment means my patients can expect toreceive the highest quality and most advanced care in my office. I am committed to excellence, especially when it comes to patient care. I became a board-certified pediatric dentist in 2008, which means I passeda voluntary written and oral examination to validatemy training and knowledge of pediatric dentistry.
I am licensed to practice the specialty of pediatric dentistry in South Carolina and Georgia. I currently have hospital privileges at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood and MCG-Childrens Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.
I am also a part-time faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia-Department of Pediatric Dentistry. I give several presentations and lectures each year to educateother dentists and healthcare providers about current topics and the clinical practice of pediatric dentistry.
I believe it is important to stay involved with the greater dental community. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, and Upper Savannah Dental Study Club.
I, as well as my staff, participate in numerous events and charities, including Give Kids a Smile Day, National Childrens Dental Health Month, Walk for the Cure, Special Olympics, and other local programs. We also volunteer many hours to educatechildren and their parents aboutthe importance of good oral health.
I am originally from Lancaster, and currently reside in Greenwood with my husband John, our two daughters Margaret and Catherine, and our dog Lucky. When I'm not spending time with my family and friends, you can find me at Carolina Gamecock football games, traveling, attending my daughters' dance and sports competitions, and taking care of our many animals, including our two Mediterranean donkeys
I married my high-school sweetheart and we enjoy spending time with our wonderful son. We love being outdoors, especially camping and going to the lake, along with coaching our sons T-ball team and being with family.
I am originally from Greenwood. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our two beautiful Huskies, Miko and Siri. I like to stayactive, especially working out, being outdoors, and going to the lake.
I enjoy meeting our new patients and getting to know them. I love asking our patients about their day and hearing all about their adventures. Each child is so special and has a different story to share. A large part of my day is spent teaching patients about proper dental hygiene so they learn how to maintain a healthy smile. In addition to providing preventive care, placing sealants, and taking X-rays, Iassist Dr. Jennifer with patient care and manage our lab cases. This is a great office where we create a fun and welcoming environment for our patients.
Each patient is special and I enjoy being part of their lives as they grow up. I really enjoy working with our special needs patients, helping them feel comfortable and at ease during visits. I assist Dr. Jennifer chairside, place sealants, take X-rays, and offer preventive care. A majority of my time is spent offering age-appropriate dental education. I work with patients and parents, teaching proper dental care and the best way to achieve and maintain a health smile. I am happy to be part of a team that feels like a family, and how we all really care about our patients.

If i could I wouldn't give any stars they were not helpful with any issues seems they have to many patients and not enough dentist the girl at the computer doesn't seem to know how to schedule correctly I have never made a complaint never in my life but I am so upset and disappointed in this dentist office the other girl didn't even bother to look up from her computer not a single person behind that glass smiled they really looked as if we the patients were bothering them I have never been so upset I will not be returning to this dentist office and if anyone asks me I will refuse the. To another dentist office I will tell exactly how this dentist office made not me no how dentist office made son feel very embarrassed

The times I've been the staff was great but now whenever I call, I NEVER get an answer and when I leave a voicemail I NEVER seem to get a callback. I'm not sure what I need to do at this point!

Fantastic experience! My children have been patients of Dr. Turner's for several years and they adore her! While this office does encourage parents to remain in the waiting room during their child's visit (because let's face it most children do much better when mom and dad are not hovering over them...take it from a teacher), they do recognize that every child is different and may need their parent to accompany them during treatment. When my children were really young, I went back for every visit. Eventually my kids wanted to go back by themselves, and I am so happy they are growing up with positive, happy visits to the dentist. Dr. Turner & her staff understand children and work hard to help their patients have positive dental experiences, which includes helping them achieve independent success and confidence during each visit. There are pros and cons to every office, but the pros definitely outweigh any cons for this very unique, A+ office. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional office (with super cool decorations) and quality care for their children!
