This is by far the worst pediatric office I have ever been to. You can never speak to dr. Tim about any concerns, you have to go through the office staff who doesn't even relay the messages correctly and you never leave the office satisfied with any of the care! But besides that issue they have canceled appointments after appointments on us and my daughter keeps loosing her teeth! So what kind of care is she receiving if that's happening! Time to find a new and better dentist!

Our first visit was amazing, fingers crossed our nexts one just as great! We have been to several different dentists in Lee county and until now couldnt find one we LOVED. I research EVERYTHING, especially when it pertains to anything with my children and I will admit after reading the reviews I wanted to cancel the appointment. Thank God I didnt, it was the total opposite of all the negative reviews. We checked in as soon as we walked in the door (no wait). Within 5 minutes of checking in the dental assistant approached us and asked if I wanted to go back with my son (he's 5) or if hes okay going alone. I told her to ask my son what he preferred, he told her he wanted me to come and we were taken to s private room. She cleaned his teeth, took him for x rays (I stayed in the room) and then Dr.Verwest saw my son. He allowed him to sit.on my lap while he did his assessment and his next cleaning was scheduled in the room before we left! I was able to see the "open bay concept" they have with video games, tvs in the ceiling, and open areas with dental chairs and medical tables. Ive never had my son attend an appointment without me but I feel like in the next few appointments I will be comfortable enough to let him go alone to the open room with the rest of the kids and do his cleanings. The office was immaculate, designed specifically for kids, and every person I came into contact with from the front desk to the dental assistant to the dentist himself we're so kind and happy to be doing their job! If you're looking for a new dentist I highly recommend this one

Friendly staff prompt service. My son enjoys going to play with the video games. The restroom could use some attention some cleaning and an airfreshener perhaps!!

We are existing patients. Our last visit was in 2020. We didn't stay for our scheduled appointment for the following reasons: They have a new policy that they won't allow parents back with their children. After arguing with the lady at the front desk and telling her that is unethical and possibly illegal to have my 7 year old treated without us they agreed to let us back. Then they told me just the visit (exam, fluoride, x-rays, preventative) was going to be over $600 which we were not prepared to paid. I specifically asked the cost when I made the appointment, and was told they couldn't tell me the price until after the appointment. However, they knew the cost when I arrived because I was asked to pay before treatment. Absolutely ridiculous that this is "the standard" price of a child dentist visit. How is this even sustainable on a long-term regular dental routine. Not to mention any further additional treatment or care that may be needed/multiple children in the family. They have a very fun waiting room, but I would not recommend for the above reasons!

I have been bringing my children here for years . And I think you and your staff are absolutely amazing. You are wonderful with the kids. You always answer and question and concerns when it comes to my children.

Made my 2 year old fast from 7 am no solids and 11 am no liquids for a 2pm appt fine they pushed it back to 2:45 last minute then made us wait over 2 hours I'm the lobby WITH A FASTING 2 YEAR OLD

Not letting parents go in the back with children is ridiculous, specially when your child is under 5 and terrified of the dentist. The front desk staff lacks professionalism, they cannot get my insurance benefits right and always try to charge me for things that are covered, they also make the appointments without asking dates, people work and have commitments, you can't choose on behalf of customers. I don't recommend this place, the building is attractive to kids, but it is not worth it.

So I was going to switch Dentist due to the long wait on getting an appointment. However, after calling couple of times and an opening came up sooner, my son had his work done a bit sooner. That wasn't the reason why I did not switch. The reason is that the staff (front office, dental assistants, and billing department) were excellent at explaining everything and took the time to make sure my son was comfortable. I also work at a dental office so I know the importance of customer service in a dental office and they made sure everything was explained and that he was at ease. He did so well that he did not need nitrous and they got to work on the whole side of his mouth. I will definitely keep them here as their dental office! They have my trust!

This place will go to extremes to pressure you to self-pay while they 'verify' insurance, threaten to reschedule your child's appointment, and are comfortable charging patients $300 for a cleaning, exam, and fluoride. We submitted not one, but two valid insurances, self-paid, and then still tried to be scheduled for an appointment on a different date. The actual dental staff are great however the administration has failed my family time and time again. We will never go back after the last few visits, insurance problems, and extra hundreds out of pocket for covered items.

Ever wonder why you cannot go into the back with your kids?? Here is my daughters story... Dr Verwest was extremely cold hearted to my daughter. She was in ALOT of pain when she was having her tooth extracted and told me how she was crying and yelling however she could with all the tools she had in her mouth and he told her to " stop crying, this doesnt hurt you!" She is terrified to return.. Needless to say we wont be back.

Do not recommend. I will be cancelling my 3 children's appointments ASAP. My daughter has an appointment coming up which requires sedation that I am required to pay $790+ directly to them prior to the procedure (after insurance). I've called the office several times and the staff have been extremely rude and unhelpful. For example, the staff told me I was responsible for the payment and to contact the Sedation company they use to discuss further but she didn't offer me their contact info. I had to ask for it and then she gave me the incorrect number. I've called back several times, used their chat feature and have gotten nowhere. I've already waited over 6 months for this appointment. There's no way the Dentists and owners know how rude staff is. The sad part of all of this is my daughter's teeth are getting worst every day. It took so long to get this appointment and now there is another roadblock. It shouldn't be this difficult to get quality care. This dentist office wastes your time and just wants your money and insurance money.

If I could give this place a ZERO STAR I would. Absolutely RUDE, ROUGH, UNCOMPASSIONATE PEOPLE! JOHNNIE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH CHILDREN AS SHE IS DISRESPECTFUL TO THE CHILDREN AND PARENTS and also the DR as he wouldn't even acknowledge what happened. If you care about your child and their safety... I would NOT bring them here !!!!!!!

Absolutely love this dentist office! My oldest son had gone here for a initial dentist appointment and we had found out he needed a couple fillings and he had an infected tooth they immediately addressed the infected tooth and filled one of his teeth in once it was good to go he then was scheduled for a secondary filling. Not only were the nurses absolutely amazing both times, scheduling the appointments were a breeze ( and coming from a mom who has 3 boys and one of them has a congenital heart issue as well as down syndrome that is a god send) and they call you when your child is done to reduce covid spread, my oldest had a blast and watched tv while getting his teeth worked on and keeps asking when hes going back. Please keep up the good work!

I would never do any business with this office, the lack of respect and customer service is terrible. My 16 year old daughter went for an appointment they TOLD her she has to pay the balance of her sisters account, YES her sisters... I called the office they told me yes, because they are both on the account the 16 year old had to pay for her sister before they can see her. She waited for 45 minutes and they never helped her. I called the office several times and ask for a call back from the office manager or the Doctor and no ONE called. I would never do business with a place that think asking another patient to pay for someone else bill is appropriate. Never again!

Fantastic dentist for kids!! I was beyond impressed with everything. The staff are so friendly, the whole office really caters to kids more than any other pediatric dentist's I've seen. They have video games in the waiting room..... that's just awesome!! They were also on time with their appointments, even though they are under staffed.The dental hygienist that my son had was so amazing that I requested her for his next appointment. I would most definitely recommend this place. 10 out of 10

The staff is sweet, Dr Verwest is not kind or gentle with the kids. There are so many rules in place for a place "geared towards kids". We left this office after the many many rules. We won't be back.

I thought we found a great dentist, but this turned out to not be the case. We recently went for a visit where a tooth was to be pulled, and instead they filled a different tooth that should not have been filled. They made me wait in the parking lot, and brought my child out, and I had no chance to speak with the dentist. I was also told that I had charges dating back 6 months when I had been there almost every month and paid after each visit. The office staff could not explain the charges, had me on hold for song long, and lots of back and forth, so I paid it, and requested medical records. After 5 years, I will not be returning.
