Dr. Tuong (David) Ta is a board-certified pediatric dentist who truly believes in the early prevention of dental problems and educating families about life-long healthy teeth. He uses age-appropriate techniques to provide exceptional care for you and your children. Dr. Tuong (David) Ta graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and Engineering. Following his dream to become a pediatric dentist, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington and certificate in pediatric dentistry at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute of Oral Health. Dr. Ta also has a Master in Public Health from Yale University.
He and his wife, Mymy, reside in Grapevine with their three young children, Adrianna, Andrew and Colin. When he is not in the office or at home with his family, Dr. Ta enjoys exercising (well, these days, chasing after Andrew and Colin, practice dancing with Adrianna), traveling and golf.
Dr. David Vo was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where he received his Bachelor of Science. He then went to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S in 2010. After working as a general dentist for one year, he realized how much he truly enjoys working with children that he went back to school to specialize in pediatric dentistry. In 2014, he completed his pediatric dental residency at University of Nevada in Las Vegas and moved back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be closer to his family.
Dr. David Vo is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has hospital privileges at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth and Children's Medical Center in Dallas. He is married to the love of his life, Ann. They have two sons: Evan, who is 4 years old, and Ethan, who is 16 months. They enjoy traveling and going to aquariums together. In his spare time, Dr. Vo loves to play with his sons.
Shelby joined Dr. Tas team in 2015. She currently attends Tarrant County College and aspires to be a dentist one day. Being able to work with the children and their families is something Shelby enjoys most about her job. In addition to being a certified Registered Dental Assistant, Shelby is also certified in CPR, radiology, and infection control.
Shelby grew up in Fort Worth, TX where she currently resides. She was recently married to her high school sweetheart, Cole, in July of 2015. When she isnt at work, you can find her playing with her dogs, Levi, Harley, and Opie, spending time with family and friends, or watching her favorite shows on Netflix.
Thuy graduated form Hudson Valley College in New York in 2006. She started in a general practice early in her career, but soon found her calling was in pediatric dentistry. She joined Pediatric Dentistry of Colleyville in 2016. She enjoys working with children and loves seeing them leave with a smile on their face. Thuy and her husband, Thomas, have two beautiful children named Ryan and Reagan (who she recently welcomed in 2020). Outside of work she loves to travel, spend time with her family, and enjoys watching her son's basketball games.

I love this office! My boys are 3 and almost 2 and they do a great job of making them (and me) feel comfortable. They have helped me do a better job of making sure the boys do dental hygiene well.

AMAZING Staff. All the way to front desk to technician to the dentist. Helped my kids so much and were on top of anything that a child could want or need. They understand children and help them make the experience educational, fun, and informative. They don't judge, and are very professional calling parents back after whatever service your child had to discuss treatment plans ND services they provided. AMAZING!!

Dr. Ta is very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest materials and methods. My four year old son felt really comfortable with him and his staff. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a Pediatric Dentist!

Had a great experience with Dr. Ta and his staff. My child has a dentist that I really liked but last time we were in for a cleaning I was given some news that I was really unsure of, something about fused baby teeth and an oral surgeon. I posted a question on a reputable Facebook page and TONS of moms recommended Dr. Ta. His wife even responded to my question. I decided to give him a try and we had such a great experience, my daughter asked if she could switch dentists. I do want to say that it wasn't because his news was better or worse, he was just much more thorough in his explanation, especially with my 13 year old daughter. He sat and talked with her first after he looked at her X-rays and explained it to her in a way she understood and felt comfortable with. I really appreciated that and so did she. So now she's a patient and we are both very happy and grateful! We definitely recommend Dr. Ta and his staff!

The absolute best. These guys are above and beyond in every way. We randomly called months ago due to concerns about baby teething. The doctor actually called and consulted us over the phone, no appointment. We brought our 4 year old to get tooth pulled and the staff and doctors are so caring and professional. They are top notch.

Staff is amazing! Wait time was great, and the staff were wonderful and kind. My kids love coming here, it's been years now and we are never disappointed. The staff explains things to my kids and with me too. They are the best! There are no surprises and they meet expectations. Anyone needing a new pediatric dentist needs to check them out for themselves! Highly recommend. Cannot say enough good things!

I have written a review already for Dr. Ta but this will be my second review. The staff are outstanding and all extremely kind. They are wonderful with my girls. I would like to say that this time we saw Dr. Sarah. We were extremely impressed. she was wonderful with my girls, very thorough, extremely intelligent and her knowledge extends beyond dentistry. It is not a surprise given she works along side Dr. Ta. This office never fails to impress me. I would highly recommend them and we will be back again for our next visit! You can't go wrong with Dr. Sarah or Dr. Ta they are both outstanding! My girls love going to the dentist!
