After graduatingdentalschool at the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Margaret completed an additional two years of training to become apediatricdentistand is now a Diplomat of the American Board ofPediatricDentistry.

As a mom of two boys, Dr. Margaret understands parents desire to be involved in their childrensdentalcare decisions. She strives to make each visit feel personal and tailored to the patients specific needs. Dr. Margaret believes that each child deserves to be treated with kindness and compassion, which will create trusting and lasting relationships. She wantsPediatricDentistryof Central Georgia to be a truedentalhome that each child is excited to come visit!

Dr. Margaret is married to her husband, Cory and they have two boys, Graham and Charlie. Recently, they welcomed a sweet new puppy, Winnie, to the family. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Margaret enjoys cheering her boys on at their games, traveling to new places, and spending time in the mountains.

Dr. Megan Powers Flournoy graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2007. She received her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2013 and then completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Georgia Regents University.

Throughout her life, Dr. Flournoy has always stayed involved in childrens lives through her involvement in community service and church activities. During pediatric residency, her experiences treating children with various medical, emotional, and developmental conditions have strengthened her love for pediatric dentistry and her commitment to treat patients with comprehensive and advanced care. She has also had extensive experience with treating dental trauma and patients under general anesthesia at both the Childrens Hospital of Georgia (GRU) and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and Egleston.

Dr. Flournoy is married to Jef Flournoy, who grew up in Macon, and they have three sons. As a mom, she understands the unique compassion needed to treat young children and loves watching families grow. Originally from Barnesville, GA, Dr. Flournoy is very excited to return to the middle Georgia area!

Born and raised in Macon, Dr. Lacy Garrett has been a Georgia Bulldog her whole life and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Lacy then went on to receive her dental degree and speciality training in Pediatric Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia. She was appointed as chief during her residency, where she conducted and published several research documents on the topics of endodontics and craniofacial anomalies. Just after earning her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, she became Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

In truth, Dr. Lacy didnt choose to practice pediatric dentistry it chose her. She has spent most of her life working with children, whether as a camp counselor, teachers aide or medical tech. But it was during her mission trips to Peru early in her dental career that she found children peeking into her station in the medical tent, gathering together in laughter. Proving that most children tend to be interested in learning and healing if not taught fear first, Dr. Lacy felt a desire to spread this sense if peace and knowledge to the children of her community.

After living exclusively in New Orleans for the past six years, Dr. Lacy knew that she must get back home to Macon, Georgia. She enjoys traveling, reading, running, and spending time with friends and family.

Joy joined PDOCG in March 2011. She has over twenty years of dental experience, both clinically and administratively. In her spare time, Joy enjoys photography, crafting, and spending time with her husband and three kids.

Katie has been with Dr. Moore since July, 2010. A mouth injury as a child made her want to go into dentistry. Katie enjoys helping children develop good oral hygiene habits that will last them a lifetime. She enjoys spending spare time with her family.

April joined PDOCG in December 2010. The highlight of her day is making kids feel special and working with them to make their dental visit pleasant and fun.When not at work, she stays busy with her family. April and her husband have five children.

Whitney has been with PDOCG since March 2011. It was her desire to work with children when she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves!

Sharon has over fifteen years of dental experience! She was inspired to enter dentistry by her family, who owned a dental lab. Outside of work, Sharon enjoys local theatre, attending church and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Allison joined PDCG in October 2020. She enjoys being able to watch our patients learn and grow and teaching them how to care for their teeth. When not working, you can find Allison spending time with her family, being outdoors and watching the Georgia Bulldogs.

Sativa joined PDOCG in March 2015. She started off assisting in 2009, then decided to become a hygienist. Sativa loves working with kids because they are funny to talk to and it a new experience every day. When at home, she enjoys watching movies and taking day trips with her family.

Rhonda has been with PDOCG since May 2016 but has worked in dentistry for over ten years. Rhonda chose pediatric dentistry because she enjoys boosting the kids confidence and making sure they know they are special to us! When shes not working, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her son and listening to her husband sing and play guitar.

Amanda has been with PDOCG since 2017. She has worked in the dental field for over 8 years. She finds joy in being around children! In her free time, you can find Amanda spending time with her family and adventuring in the mountains!

Hunter joined PDoCG in May 2019 .She has always enjoyed being around kids and feels spending all day at work with them make the day fun and exciting. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her 2 boys.

Rachel joined PDOCG in August of 2019 after completing her internship in our office. She has always loved working with children and knew she wanted to pursue pediatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys running, volunteering at church and spending time with her husband and dog.

Melissa joined PDOCG in October 2020. She started in the dental field in 2000 as an Office Manager and continued with varying positions within the front office. She graduated from MGA with a B.S. in Health Information Management in 2003. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with my husband, two children, baking and reading.
