Loved this dentist. Transferred my kids insurance to ensure they could continue being seen here. Called to make follow ups for them today, and found out they will not see anyone over 14 now and they are booked out 6 months for just a cleaning. So looks like I now get to find another dentist for my kids who have been here for 6 years now. Great communication.

Please read if you care about your child. I cant leave a review with negative stars so I gave a one. I am not even sure how this place is up and running. Humans, keep in mind, adult humans should not act the way this facility operates. Horrible bed side manner, yelling when they talk to the smaller children, and insisting they are not hurting the patients next to my child when they are crying owwie. I asked about how to fix our problem they said iv sedation. They didnt clean his teeth or do xrays because he is 3. He sat there and stayed still and was cooperating but they insisted little kids dont stay still so the only help would be to do nothing or iv sedate him with some private contractor that comes to their office at 2,000$. What? I did not see them smile once or try to make any child there comfortable it was so sad. They tried to make me sign something for further iv sedation after I said no, to charge my insurance. They taught me----- how to brush my child's teeth. Excuse me? Then they charge me 10.00 for that. Rude, unclean hygienist, as well. Dentist ---- gave us information that was inaccurate. One last thing, who periodically checks these businesses and drug tests the hygienists here???? God Bless and try somewhere else.

MUST READ! I used to speak highly of this practice but had such a terrible experience this week with them. My son had a dental filling done and after had tons of pain. I expected some discomfort, gave him tylenol and rode it out till the following day he spiked a fever of 103. I called and left a message and emailed them as it was a Saturday. I figured they would contact me Monday. I took him to urgent care that Saturday and he was placed on antibiotics. Fast forward to Monday they never called me so I called. Was on the phone for an hour, they kept putting me on hold and hanging up on me. Initially they told me they could not see him until 2 weeks later! They said the fever wasn't related to the filling and that since he had a fever they couldn't see him until he was without a fever for 48hrs and on antibiotics for 5 days. Then was told he had to follow up with his primary or urgent care before they saw him. Finally after insisting it was neglect for them not to follow up sooner and provide an earlier appointment I was told to take him to another dentist! My son got a fever after the procedure they did and they had no regard for him at all. They did not want to take the time to make sure the filling was ok. We don't have insurance and I pay out of pocket. Needless to say, we won't return to this practice.

The only pediatric dental clinic in town I will ever trust. I have been to both their Cape Coral and Port Charlotte locations and each visit was such a wonderful, calming, educational experience for parent and child.

My 7 year old needed two teeth pulled recently. Needless to say we were nervous about the procedure. Pediatric Dentistry did such an amazing job that my daughter didn't shed one single tear. They were so gentle and kind - truly made the experience a non issue for us. Thank you to the entire team. We appreciate it.

I used to speak very highly of this office. Recently they over charged me for multiple dates of service. I asked them several times to verify my out of pocket responsibility. They collected the full allowable amount each time. My insurance covered 90% of the claims which left me with a large credit on my account. They refused to issue a refund stating that they "only collected what the insurance told them to". I have always paid up front but did not see any reason to continue to overpay for claims and have my credit on my account grow. Heather was very dismissive and condescending. I was told that if I wanted a refund, I would have to find a new dentist for my children. It's unfortunate because 99% of the staff is fantastic. If their policy is to withhold patient overpayments then they should make every effort to collect the correct amount up front.

This dentist has a fee for oral hygiene instruction that is charged for every visit that is uncovered by the insurance company and they do not allow you to opt out of it. They will also overcharge you for every visit. They are not supposed to charge you more than what their contract with the insurance company allows. This is to protect you. Make sure you get a detailed breakdown from them showing what the "allowed amount" or "patient pays" is for every visit.

Wife called and makes an appointment for my two daughters she was told on the phone cleaning and exam no insurance $200 to 250 per child, I toke my daughters in they never told me the price before doing the procedure or show me a treatment plan with the fees after a quick polish and a 5 min dental exam both girls in the same chair. I walked to the front desk for check out I was told $796 for today visit I was planning to spend 400 to 500 but not double from what my wife was told on the phone. This place is a scam they don't tell you the fees until you are ready to check out!!!

English as a second language dentist with absolutely no bedside manner. Had my kid freaked out with her mannerisms. Didn't go over anything with me in the back during the 3-5 minute exam, then front office tells me they what to sedate my kid with intravenous and that I HAVE TO SIGN a 2k anesthesia plan and a 5 composite fillings "plan" to my insurance. If this is what you consider good pediatric dentistry I feel sorry for you. We're going back to Fort Myers.

Very friendly staff, and the dentist was amazing! My 9 year old daughter has always been afraid of the dentist. They comforted her, showed her all the tools and explained everything for her to understand. Quick and painless extraction. My little girl is no longer afraid of the dentist!

What a wonderful team of Dentists and dental hygienists! Both of my kids started going to Dr. Erin when they were toddlers and since they have had such positive experiences they love the dentist!! The hygientists are kind, patient and quick! My kids love watching "the movie on the ceiling" and petting the office therapy dog Ellie who keeps them still and calm in the chair. I highly recommend if you are looking for an honest, professional team to make an appointment here.

This was our first foray into dentists in Florida and it wasn't a positive experience. Watch out for the $10 fee to have your child brush their teeth in the sink. Very stressful environment and not a place to go if you're Covid cautious.

My husband stayed in the waiting room while my son was taken back to get his teeth cleaned. He thought he was only getting the normal teeth cleaning procedures but to find out they took x-rays without my husbands permission. When checking out the total was almost $300. They did not give him a bill just the credit card receipt that they charged. I had to call later after he got home to get an itemized list and that is when we realized they had done x-rays without his permission. I called them to explain to them that we never authorized this and that we were never asked if x-rays could be done on my child, as he is 11 and cannot make medical choices for himself. They told me that they did in fact ask and that my husband was sitting with him the whole time, which he was not and was in fact sitting in the waiting room while my son got his teeth cleaned. The receptionist I spoke to said well its our word against his. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a Dentist Office and will not be returning. Oh by the way, they charge you $10 for Oral Hygiene instructions. Absolutely Ridiculous.

They actually tried billing me for work they didn't do. I paid up front for all services provided at the time of visit. I was then billed for 99.00 with no explanation on the bill what it was for, obviously just a scam to get more money. Probably works 90% of the time. I call and leave a message, that I had already paid for all services provided, and get a return message that they did additional work. However the tooth mentioned wasn't fixed. And I was in the treatment room and present the whole time, they would have asked for the additional charges before leaving, trust me they have a paid in full at time of service policy.

Too expensive for what they do, we recently moved from Miami and we never had to pay $210 usd for anesthesia for an extraction, but if the price had been reasonable it would be fine, but now I'll prefer drive for 2:30 hours back and forward to Miami to serve my children and with the same quality for a lower price.
