My kids receive amazing care here.

This is by far the best quality most attentive, positive, skilled dentist office I've ever been too...and my teeth are long gone (disease) so I've got a lot of experience to pull from! Between that and two kids I've been too many and seriously I can't advocate enough for this offices skill and quality! Especially during the pandemic. Major steps to protect our kids, keep things sterile, and no problem with the 3 times I had to reschedule for classroom covid issues. If you need a pediatric dentist in Brighton look no further, you won't find better!

My son is 3 and he came here for the first time (his first time at a dentist office as well) and we had Miss Rachel and Miss Shelly (I'm sorry if I spelled your names wrong!). They made him so comfortable and even giggling for his first time. He was quite nervous until they had him smiling and laughing. I wish I could get my youngest here when it's his time, but maybe we shall see! I'm glad I came here for my son. They really took good care of him!

We were referred to this dentist office because my son was uncooperative at our family dentist office when he was younger. He loves this place and has never had a complaint! The staff and dentists know how to work with children to get then to cooperate in the chair.

I was extremely impressed with our dental hygienist today. My daughter has Smith-Magenis Syndrome and one of our biggest struggles is dental hygiene. The dental hygienist looked up her syndrome before our appointment and created a plan of action to help her have a positive experience. I had been dreading this appointment all week and honestly left in happy tears. I was so incredibly proud of my daughter and so happy the staff went above and beyond to help her have an excellent experience.

I absolutely love this office. Dr. Carrico, Dr. Radtke and Dr. Gentz are all excellent pediatric dentists. I can say this with confidence and honesty, that every staff member at this office loves your child. Both clerical and clinical staff. They care about your children and providing the best care. If you know me personally you know that I would never work anywhere that I didn't feel comfortable taking my children. I have worked in the Livingston County dental community for a long time. The reason why the doctors have established the one parent, one child rule is one of the reasons why the dentists at this office can provide such excellent care. Unfortunately siblings can be a distraction. Our doctors want to give the child in the chair 110% of their attention. Dental office's have sharp instruments that can be eye- catching for a small child. It is their job as dental professionals to not only provide your child with dental care but keep everyone who is in the operatory safe. We as a society have become so accustomed to our neighborhood dentist being no big deal that we forget that even though a dental procedure is not quite as complex as heart surgery, it is still considered a surgical procedure on hard tissue in the body. Do you go in the operatory when a person is having surgery? This rule was not created with malicious intent but to keep your children safe while providing top notch dental care.

Stay away from this practice! My special needs granddaughter had a dental extraction done here on a baby tooth on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, and it was a nightmare! The tooth broke off into 3 pieces during the procedure, and it appears that they did not increase the local anesthesia to accommodate the extra pain she was in due to the "digging" they had to do in order to complete the extraction. If they don't know how to provide safe, adequate care to special needs children, they should be honest with the parents and tell them to take the child elsewhere!

My 2 year old daughter just had her first appointment. Dr. Carrico was terrific! She made the visit a breeze for my daughter and eased all my concerns regarding her treatment. We have always had great experiences since my sons starting coming here roughly 5 years ago.

I do not recommend this place! The staff was very rude, and i was told I would not be able to sit with my child (who suffers from anxiety) during her cleaning. I explained the situation and they wouldn't budge! I will never go back!

I'm shocked at the negative reviews left here, because this is the absolute BEST Pediatric Dentistry!! Where do I begin? Every person here is kind, competent, and caring. I have a child with special needs and they go above and beyond to accommodate him. He's gone from an anxious and fearful patient to a calm and confident one- in large part due to their calm nature that earned his trust. To those complaining about not being able to bring multiple children in the back, what on earth do you expect? This is a *professional, medical* facility, not a play place (even though they sure do make it so fun here, it can be easy to confuse the two )!! These are doctors and medical staff that are here to dispense medical care, and ensuring a professional environment that enables them to properly do their important jobs is their top priority! Would you want anything less for your children? I know I wouldn't. Thought and care go into every decision or rule that they make, and I for one will respect every single one of them. I can't thank them enough for always having my children's health at the forefront of their decisions, and I trust them implicitly with that part of their health. They are top notch in every sense of the phrase, and I will always go out of my way to recommend them to every person that I can!!

Where do I begin? Our four-year-old son had nerve damage from bumping his teeth running around the house so it was highly recommended that we pull his two front teeth later to find out that he really needed four of them pulled (as he was at risk for infection). This was done by Dr. Sarah A. Carrico And I must admit, I was extremely nervous about him getting laughing gas and the procedure in general. She went extremely slow and put up with 1 million questions I had with a smile and a sense of peace. She truly loves children! You can see it by the personal drawings Proudly displayed by the children that have been treated in the office hanging on the walls. The quality, care, professionalism, and knowledge blew me away. Trust is very valuable to me and I would say I trust them with the care of my children. Thank you again for such wonderful service and kindness. Tammy Stahl

Was reommended to take my 6 year old son here for a lot of work he needed (3 fillings and crowns). We had a plan for him to get the work done every month so it would be less invasive for him and more affordabe for me. (each treatment was around ($450-$500, and my insurance wasn't accepted). Fast forward to his second round of treatment and he was literally screaming and shaking in pain... i tried to comfort him but was quickly told this was a common reaction... um no. I know my kid and know his reactions. this was not a normal painful reaction, this was torture. After we left i asked if he could show me what was hurting and the inside of his cheek was inflamed, broken, and bloody due to their tools pinching his skin! Not even on the same side the work was being performed on. I was so mad that I cancelled his last appt and promised him I would never take him back there. I should note that we only ever saw Dr. Radtke so I can only speak for our experience with her and I was very displeased. A year later, we ran into another tooth issue i was desperate not to take him back to this office. I ended up coming across LifeSmiles in Howell and let me tell ya.... WHAT A DIFFERENCE. My son had to have his tooth extracted and this kid didn't even cry, flinch, or make a peep. He actually told me he didn't even know they were pulling his tooth until she showed it to him after. Just do yourselves a favor and go to LifeSmiles... i think the negative reviews here and positive ones there speak for themselves.

This place has really lost its marbles.. Do not recommend if you have more than 1 child. I have to leave my minor child (8 years old) alone in the room to have dental work done because i had to bring his sibling with him and apparently siblings are not allowed to be in the room while we wait.
