Dr. Henry Cook grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He attended the University of Mississippi and graduated in 1989 with a BA in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1993 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. After graduation from dental school, Dr Cook was accepted into the pediatric dental residency training program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, one of the largest children's hospitals in the nation. During his two years there, he received extensive training in every aspect of dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and teens. Some areas of specialty training were conscious sedation, hospital dentistry, dentistry for children with special needs, and craniofacial growth and development. Upon completion of his pediatric dental training in 1995, Dr Cook moved back to Mississippi and started a pediatric dental practice in Brandon. He has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all his patients and their families over the years, and considers it a privilege to help them keep bright smiles!
Dr. Henry Cook enjoys outdoor activities including deer and duck hunting, spending time with his family, and New Orleans Saints football. He has had the opportunity to participate in several local and foreign dental missions and looks forward to continuing this in the future.

My two year old had his very first dental appointment today. Like most his age, he wasn't the best patient in the world but sweet Kaitlin did outstanding with him and even got a little smirk out of him. She remained very calm, while being gentle and so kind to my sweet boy. Dr.Cook also did an outstanding job with Him even though he put up a good fight. Both were very informative and did the best job! The front desk ladies were very welcoming and greeted us with bright pretty smiles this morning as well. Thank you all for making us feel right at home. Can't wait to see you all again in 6months!

Everyone was so nice! They were patient with my children whom are two and three. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with small children!

My kids have gone to Pediatric Dentistry of Brandon twice since we moved to the area, and we have had good experiences both times. The receptionists and hygienists are super nice, and so is Dr. Cook.

Always such a great place. Everyone in there is just super kind and amazing dealing with my two girls. I know growing up I always feared going to the dentist, but Dr Cook, the nurses, and even the front desk, make my children excited to go to the dentist.
