We approach all problems of children with affection. Theirs is the province of joy and good humor. They are the most wholesome part of the race for they are the freshest from the hand of God. Herbert Hoover.

We have also assembled a team to assist in caring for your child. They too love to help children experience dentistry in a positive manner. The team has extra technical training on coronal polishing, sealant placement, nitrous oxide monitoring, digital radiographs (X-rays), dental/oral photography, and CPR to help ensure a safe and smooth experience. Most of all, they are dedicated to making your child learn to love visiting the dentist.

Also, we are dedicated to grow in excellence and improve ourselves through continuing education and investment of the newest techniques and technology, such as digital X-rays, digital photography, caries (cavity) detection, and cariology (cavity treatment). We accomplish this through risk assessment that is followed by individual treatment and prevention protocols for your child.

Do not send your children here. I would not even send my dog here. This place is after money and that is it. I promise you... your child will leave with a list of dental work with a cost equivalent to a small college tuition and it will be endless. Please find another dentist.. your wallet and your child will appreciate you. The staff is very rude especially billing. The dentist I've never even met. They just take your child and here you are thinking they are receiving the best care. Wrong!! I promise you and I guarantee you that when you leave it won't be just for a cleaning.. Your child will have more than 1 cavity.. and it will take numerous visits because all they want is money. Don't do it!!!!!!!! After finding out just how they are I received a nasty letter from the dentist himself refusing further care. Thank you because guess what my son is way better off without a dentist like you. Do everyone a favor and retire.

I will NEVER send my daughter back to this dentist. If I could give negative stars I would. After receiving a laundry list of dental work that was needed and trusting this dentist we went forward with their dental plan. Later to find out that they ground my daughter's teeth too much when placing a temporary filling ( it fell off in two days). Well, they did this, they held my daughter's legs down and held her face as she screamed for me because I had to sit in the lobby. This caused a gap in her gums for bacteria to get trapped which resulted in an abscess on her gums later on. We brought her back and the dentist's recommendation was to pull yet another tooth and we were referred to an oral surgeon. I was sick to my stomach that my 4-year-old had to have a second tooth pulled. Feeling uneasy, I contacted another dentist for a second opinion. Needless to say after an amazing experience with our new dentist in Roscoe, Dr. Joiner with Joiner Family Dental, her tooth did not need to be extracted after all. The staff at Pediatric Dentistry is extremely rude, parents aren't allowed to go back with their children, and they are quick to just pull teeth. I would never recommend this dentist.

I have had two kids referred here from their regular dentist for further dental work. Paid money to this office only to find out later that not all of the dental work was taken care of. My first son had to have a tooth pulled because they neglected to fix a cavity that was listed on the referral. I found out on my second son that not all of the work was done either. I was also told that both my sons (at separate times) needed root canals that the office wanted thousands of dollars for. Only to find out later that neither of them actually needed a root canal. When I tried to question the office about my first son the lady was very rude to me and told me the tooth in question was not on the referral, but I was holding a copy of the referral in my hand!

Dr. Johnson was very rough when handling my child's head during treatment. I do not trust him or this office. My family had a terrible time with this physician as well as his staff. Do not let ypurchild go back alone.

Took my son here a few times and the dentist was great, the hygienists were great. They did good work. My kids can be on the uncooperative side, but the staff here were able to ease my son's fears and do the needed work. I am giving them 3 stars though because of their billing practices. They made me pay more than what I needed to, part of what the insurance was going to pay. Then, because the insurance took a long time to pay -even though there was a promise to pay and an explanation of benefits showing that they were going to pay- the office sent me a new statement every month for more than 8 months with a new 3.50 "rebilling fee" added on. So, when my insurance finally did pay them, they sent me a refund check for what I had overpaid but they kept their $30 in "rebilling fees". Ridiculous. We would love to go back there if they would reconsider their billing practices.

Both of my daughters go here and they love it. They already have a better relationship with a dentist than what I have ever have. The staff always explains to the kids what they are doing so there are no surprises. Hands down the best pediatric dentist.
