To make a long story short I had a bad experience with a local pediatric dentist in Valparaiso and had a daughter who needed an urgent extraction due to an abscess and an infection. The man made my 11-year-old daughter and I both uncomfortable and proceeded to try and strong arm me into exclusively using him due to the urgent need for an extraction. Well Highland Pediatric Dentist came to the rescue! The front desk ladies were kind understanding and helpful and were able to get my daughter in the next day to have the extraction done! We drove 45 minutes to get there and would do it again in a heartbeat because of how well they listened to my concerns and took them into account. They got all the paperwork done quickly even got x-rays transferred and everything ready to go with only one day's notice and got all the emergent dental Care done in just 1visit! I'm so appreciative and couldn't recommend them enough!!

So cute here. The ladies here are so gentle and funny! My son had his first ever visit with the dentist and I HIGHLY recommend these ladies! I can't thank you all enough!

I'd give less stars if I could. Rude as could be. DO NOT COME HERE! This is how the treat their loyal customers of over 10 years. The women in the office were always condescending and like they were putting them out if you asked a question and then always claimed they had no idea how insurance would work or pay. Someone should know something in that office. Sheesh...

I love the attitude and the spirit of Dr. Balentine (hope I spelled it correctly) and the hygienist but the front office staff could do better. I felt as if I was a bother and they could be doing something better. This has been on a couple of occasions and I am seriously looking to find another dentist for my family. My time is valuable and I don't like to go where my money and I am not appreciated. It really sucks because I love the doctor and girls in the back. We have been going here for some years.

My son had a procedure done I was 30 minutes early it was ok. The following week for his final appointment there was a accident on the expressway which caused me to be 10 minutes late they told me they could not see him until 2 months later. Very un compassionate. I would understand later that day or a week maybe a month but 2 months for a 30 minute procedure very unacceptable

Make an appointment take off work for appointment then they want to call and cancel because of quote schedule conflicts. Want to reschedule in 3 plus months. Why bother NO thanks

They're AWESOME with my son Ivan. We've been going there for 2 years. They always put aside extra time for Ivan because they know he has autism and want to make sure there is enough staff there to help with him. He crys and they smile. He pouts and they comfort him. He yells and they talk to him. These assists are truly angels and the dentist is nice as well. I highly recommend this dental office. thank you all in the front staff is nice
