Dr. Christie is a pediatric dentist, specializing in the treatment and prevention of dental disease, as well as the overall oral health of children. Through extra years of schooling, training, experience, and certification, a pediatric dentist is uniquely qualified to treat the dental needs of infants, children, and adolescents.
A pediatric patient not only has a different dentition than adults but he/she may have specific dental and behavioral needs that are unique to a child. These needs may include orthodontics, dental sealants, fluoride applications or home treatments, or just simply education in oral hygiene. In addition to treating existing dental problems, our office focuses on prevention through patient and parent education.
We like to feel that you and your child do not come to our office to have their cavities fixed but rather to prevent them. Our mission is to provide all of the educational tools necessary for our patients to enjoy a cavity-free future.
When a Pediatric Dentist is Board Certified it means that the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry or ABPD certifies that the dental care being provided is based on standards of excellence that lead to high quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special health care needs. Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a Pediatric Dentist, like Dr. Christie, has successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to the delivery of quality patient care.

I'm always so impressed with the entire staff. My son had his tongue lasered today and Dr. McCarley is so patient. She kept giving him breaks when he started to move and get upset. He was not hurting he just has sensory issues. He was excited to pick a couple of prizes at the end.

I couldn't ask for a better dentist to take my children. Everyone is so friendly and informative. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable. My kids actually look forward to getting their teeth cleaned.

Dr. Christie's office is very accommodating and friendly. They took the time to give us an earlier appointment when asked. They were very personable to my son and I. Most importantly, they followed up on a referral that I received. The hygienist was very detailed with my son's appointment and thoroughly discussed his plan of care. I would not take my child to another dentist!! Glad I selected Dr. Christie!

I love the staff here. Every time I come here I get a warm, welcome vibe and not a single tense person. They all seem to be happy to work here. Even my ASD kiddo seemed less tense than at other pediatric dentists. There was a little of course because he doesn't like people touching him, but amongst all the paperwork they also ask what the kid's favorite things, hobbies and pets are so they can connect with each one personally. When the kiddo comes in they only wait a few minutes, where they can play or watch a kid friendly movie. When they call you back the parent can come with, they just take everyone's temperature. The cubicles feel both open and private at the same time, and your kid will sit in a clean, comfortable chair while the staff asks what kiddo wants to watch during their visit and puts it onto a ceiling mounted TV. They talk in calm, happy tones and let them pick the flavors of cleaning supplies, and when all is done the kid gets a goodie bag and tokens to pick two prizes on their way out. Love it there!

My daughter loves Dr. Christie and her staff. She loves that she can zone out and watch a movie of her choice while the hygienist works. They do a great job educating the children on their level while they work.
