Dr. Meera A. Gokli graduated with honors from the University of Richmond. She earned her D.D.S. at VCU/MCV School of Dentistry and completed her residency at VCU/MCV in Pediatric Dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Gokli has continued to make significant achievements in her field.She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, based on standards of excellence that lead to high-quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. Dr. Meera Gokli also served as President of both the Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Virginia Board of Dentistry. Dr. Gokli teaches at MCV/VCU and is a Board Member of Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Gokli is a kid at heart and she cherishes having the opportunity to help children achieve healthy smiles. She loves playing with her younger patients and talking to her older patients about their future hopes and dreams. Dr. Gokli has two children of her own, as well as a talking parrot! She loves sports, especially ping pong she is the Richmond City Champion and VA State Champion. Dr. Gokli has traveled to all 7 continents but has been raised, educated and rooted in Richmond. She could not imagine living anywhere else!

Made a last minute appointment with Dr. Gokli after my 3 year old busted his lip badly. I can't begin to explain how great our experience was. The reception nurses were wonderful, the nurses in the back were wonderful, Dr. Gokli was amazing. My child was distressed and not being cooperative because he was scared and upset. The nurses and Dr. had everything necessary happen quickly and my child immediately calmed down. As a mom in fight or flight mode, I definitely recommend this pediatric dentistry!

We love this place! As a mom to 5 kids, consistency and service are so important when choosing providers for our children. We could not be happier with both the dentistry and orthodontics at this location. The staff is always friendly and they are excellent at explaining/recommending care while also providing payment options outside of insurance. Highly recommend!

There is a huge lack of communication from the staff to the parents. There were initially bills sent to the wrong address. Additional testings during routine exams that I was unaware of and did not approve prior to them occurring, notes in their system referencing risk of infection with tooth which I knew nothing about. Furthermore, they do not allow the parents to be present during the child's dental exams. If the staff is incapable of communicating important things described above, parents should have the option to attend with the child the exam to determine what is actually occurring during the visits.

My experience with my two children has been uniformly wonderful! The staff and Dr. Gokli go above and beyond to make this as pleasant an experience as is possible. The best pediatric dentist since my childhood dentist who had a monkey habitat- that is saying something!

I could not be happier with PDOVA. I didn't realize how sub-par our previous dentists were until I met Dr. Gokli and her staff. Everyone here is wonderful! The staff members always win over my very anxious children, and Dr. Gokli is kind, knowledgeable, and skilled. We drive past multiple dental practices to get here, and it's worth the trip every time.

From cleanings with Dr. Gokli to braces and beautiful smiles with Dr. April Bridges-Poquis, I thank the entire staff for such great care and expertise with my three children! Their all out of braces as of yesterday, with my daughter (14) being the last. My boys (22 & 20) were with PDOVA for the whole ride as well!

We absolutely love this practice! My daughter just finished orthodontic treatment with Dr. Bridges and we are so happy with the outcome. The front office staff, clinical staff, and Doctors are awesome. Always super friendly and try to accommodate you the best they can.

Dr. Bridges was so kind and thorough throughout my treatment. The staff was so nice and made sure I was comfortable consistently throughout my treatment. My teeth look beautiful and it took less than 2 years. Thank you PDOVA!!

I would like to thank Dr. Gokli and her staff for being so warm, welcoming and kind during my daughters first dentist appointment. It was a relief to feel that my daughter would be treated well and that staff had patience. I wish the entire staff a Happy Holidays.

All my three kids see Dr.Gokli for cleaning and check up and they love her. She always makes them laugh at there dental appointment. My two oldest got there braces done with Dr. Bridges. Both very happy with the way there teeth turn out. Dr. Bridges is the sweetest of them all. I really love all the staff and all the doctors every one is super nice. Thanks PDOVA for making my kids feel comfortable and for treating us like family.

My kids have been patients of Dr. Lubbe's for over 15 years. Dr. Lubbe and his staff are amazing, always going above and beyond to help my kids. He always takes time to discuss the kids dental health in a way the kids and I will understand. Dr. Lubbe and his office get 5+ stars from me and my family!!

We have a special needs daughter (almost 10) and while she is quite high functioning, she has extreme sensory sensitivities. I cannot say enough kind things about Dr. Gokli and her staff. I appreciated the time they took with our child and made her so comfortable and actually excited to come to the dentist... and she had to get a cleaning/X-rays/cavities filled and a crown!!!! Obviously different visits for each but she was able to complete every appointment. Most of all, because of their expert experience in how to work with kiddos that have unique challenges, our child has been able to establish her own relationship with this practice and each team member and that is truly remarkable. Thank you again for allowing this to be such a good experience for her.

A dentist here held his hand over a little girl's mouth while she cried in pain and told her to quit crying. Her parent's were not allowed past the waiting room. Don't patronize this business. This is not a safe practice for children.

If you are concerned your little one may have some apprehension about going off with a stranger to have dental work done, you may want to go elsewhere. My five year old was schedule to have some cavities filled; however, I was told that was not going to occur because they were not able to get her settled enough. I was not given the opportunity to console or redirect her, nor asked what might help to calm her down or earn her trust more quickly. Instead I was brought back and told we were being referred elsewhere for a more invasive level of treatment. It is one thing if we collectively cannot get her settled; but, it is quite a bit more frustrating being told stangers cannot calm your child so you need to go see someone else.

My 8 year old brother came to see Dr. Lubbe, he was very thorough, knowledgeable and nice! Wouldn't want to take him to any other Pediatric Dentist! Definitely recommend coming to this office and seeing Dr. Lubbe!
