Dr. Meera A. Gokli graduated with honors from the University of Richmond. She earned her D.D.S. at VCU/MCV School of Dentistry and completed her residency at VCU/MCV in Pediatric Dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Gokli has continued to make significant achievements in her field.She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, based on standards of excellence that lead to high-quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. Dr. Meera Gokli also served as President of both the Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Virginia Board of Dentistry. Dr. Gokli teaches at MCV/VCU and is a Board Member of Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Gokli is a kid at heart and she cherishes having the opportunity to help children achieve healthy smiles. She loves playing with her younger patients and talking to her older patients about their future hopes and dreams. Dr. Gokli has two children of her own, as well as a talking parrot! She loves sports, especially ping pong she is the Richmond City Champion and VA State Champion. Dr. Gokli has traveled to all 7 continents but has been raised, educated and rooted in Richmond. She could not imagine living anywhere else!

We've been seeing Dr. Bridges for many years, and she's done a wonderful job transforming all three of my kids' smiles into beautiful straight teeth smiles! The most challenging case was kid #3 who just completed Phase II, and we are so incredibly happy with the results!

Dr. Gokli and the entire staff at PDOVA are absolutely amazing. From the upbeat greeting with which they answer the phone to their kind and courteous service in office, patients (and their parents) are sure to get top notch service. Went for a consultation and took my own x rays. ( we opted to go with a different office for services ) They have sent me a bill for 250.00. I have called multiple times for clarification with no call back. They have now sent me to a collection agency. I give No stars !

This dentist doesn't even have the decency to call me back with a reason as in to why they cancelled my son's procedure a week before it was supposed to happen. No sympathy what so ever for their customers. Told me they don't make any money off military and told me that they will remove me if I come in and try to talk to the dentist. Wouldn't trust anyone like this with my child. All about the money. My response back to the "owner" don't come at me with how I review other places. This is my review towards your business considering I had an awful experience. You coming at me doesn't change the fact that I was treated very poorly. I actually got my son into another dentist the very next day and it turns out that he had an infection and needed put on antibiotics. Thank god someone was able to give my son the care that he needed. Also, whether or not you are affiliated with military, that doesn't change the fact that I was told you don't make money off us.

Doctor Bridges and her staff are professional and a caring group of Professionals. They make you feel part of a family bonding. The staff at PDOVA is always friendly and helpful. They are easy to work with regarding appointments. They are easy to get in touch with if we had questions or needed their assistance. And most importantly my child is very happy with her results. I have another getting ready to need braces/Invisalign also and we will definitely be going to PDOVA.

My children have been patients of Dr.Lubbe for over 9 years. To say he and his team are the best is an understatement. Dr. Lubbe takes his time with you explaining what was done during their visit and making sure you understand. When my children need to come back for treatment he explains the treatment, shows details on the X-rays etc. Dr. Lubbe is always professional, courteous and friendly. I work for the military and always have and always will recommend Dr. Lubbe and his team for a great experience for their children.

I scheduled an appointment for my son over a month ago. The day before his appointment I was sent a text that didn't identify who it was from saying something about a medical release form. I replied asking who the text was from and got no response. Now this morning 6 hours before his appointment I recieve a phone call saying he needs a medical release form from his pediatrician for a benign heart murmur that has no medical significance and has never been an issue at any doctor or dentist appointment. I asked them to remove it from his chart and they said they can't. I understand they may be trying to protect their patients or rather themselves but when I, his mother, say its not an issue then it's not an issue. Also maybe consider letting people know well in advance that this is your policy. I would have just not mentioned the murmur seeing as it is not relavent to his health.

My son needed specialized dental care and treatment due to a disorder that affected his skin and teeth. Dr. Gokli and her team were awesome from Day 1. My son went there for years and it was through Dr. Gokli's skills and expertise that his teeth were corrected. I am so grateful to Dr. Gokli and her team for all they did to help my son!

I have Four kids that love coming to the dentist/orthodontist and who aren't afraid of the dentist. Dr.Gokli and Dr.April are seriously the best and the staff is always so welcoming and kind. I'm so thankful as a parent to bring my kids to PDOVA of Colonial Heights where they feel safe. Two of my kids have had caps and cavities filled. They have amazingly cute names for the tools they use to make my children feel at ease. All my kids always talk about how they love Mr.Bumpy on there teeth. We have been going to PDOVA at this location for 2 years. They love the treasure chest to pick out a toy and they get new toothbrushes and toothpaste after each 6 month cleaning visit. Best pediatric dentist/orthodontist hands down!!

I'm giving this rating just because of the snide and distasteful responses from the owner I see which sounds like a snobby Karen that's taking everything personal but why? If a parent who is supposed to advocate for their child is not speaking up for the children then who will. I'll happily continue to drive 40 mins away to another well known peds dentist instead of trying this practice.

Absolutely fell in love with this dentistry office. The staff are very friendly from the time you go in to the time you leave. They are very informative and make sure you leave knowing all questions and concerns are answered perfectly. This was a first visit for my child, and I think I was more nervous for how she was going to be, then her lol. She did amazing, and I believe it was because of the amazing staff. Dr. Golki was great with her as well, and she was very simple and to the point when it came to explaining things to me, and just over all how she interacted with my daughter. Sometimes a dentist visit can seem scary, just like any other doctor visit, but the staff there were incredible, and really made the visit enjoyable, fun, and nothing to be scared of at all.

Charged $400 dollars for a consult. My then 4 yr old could not be accompanied by a parent while in the back. Later received a summons that I owe a debt for non-treatment, someone needs to shut this place down.

I have been taking my children to this office for over 14 years. The staff are friendly and professional. My children look forward to going. They see Dr. Lubbe for dentistry and all three are needing braces with Dr. Bridges-Poquis. I highly recommend this office and their awesome staff!

I called for basic information and the receptionist was so friendly, helpful, and patient. When we got there, the place was clean. They were on time with appointment and everyone from dentist, ortho, receptionists, who worked with my son I was amazed by there work ethics, communication with me, the hole nine yards. Definitely recommend this place.

Front Desk Staff- GREAT! The tech who took my son back- GREAT! Only reason 1 star is acceptable. The dentist - HORRIBLE! She actually BULLIED my child. My son was so uncomfortable with this woman. She repeatedly commented on how his mouth was terrible and needed so much work. Negativity over and over. He said that everyone in the back then kept coming over and looking at his mouth and how terrible it was.... I honestly am still in shock at how my son was treated. I wish I would have researched the reviews on google before going. I work in a medical office and it's heartbreaking to imagine one of my docs treating a patient this way, treating a child this way is just unforgivable.
