Our doctors dedicate their professional careers to providing you the best that dentistry has to offer. We understand the honor it is to serve the community as health care providers and, as such, continue to be life-long learners in our respective specialties. Our team of doctors completes hundreds of hours of continuing education every year so you can be sure your family is receiving the state-of-the-art in gentle and personalized dental care. We have some of the best pediatric dentists and orthodontic specialists in Michigan.

Our experienced staff is especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic, high-quality, compassionate service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Our staff takes great pride in helping others. During the winter months, they have helped children and families in need. They choose families through Macomb Countys Department of Human Service, donating items that families may need. Giving and community involvement is important to the core mission at our practice, and this is just one example of how our staff does that. We are yearly participants in educational programs in schools, community child care centers, and pediatricians offices. We love participating in holiday events like the Macomb Egg-Stravaganza, Trick or Treat trail, or Macomb Township Parks and Recreation Tons O Trucks. We take pride in teaching our community about pediatric dental health. We also like to have fun too! We actively sponsor local sports teams, performing arts events, and support our police, fire, and armed service members we are so grateful for. Our team takes pride in the community and are happy to participate in helping both inside and outside the walls of the practice.

We are exceptionally proud of the type of office staff we have assembled through the years because so many of them have made a career of serving our patients and our community. We are happy to recognize all of our wonderful staff members and we try to say thank you to all our amazing staff on a regular basis. So many of our staff have been with us for very long periods of time, many of them over 30 years, and we think this consistency helps to provide the patient with the best dental care and experience possible.

Would not recommend. Apparently I'm not the only one. They are very rude and won't listen to anything I had to say. Take your children somewhere else.

Very disappointed in this office and it's policies. I took my 13 and 15 yr old children here since age 3. They were due for cleanings in spring 2020. With everything going on the last 2 years, I never got them appts. I called today to get them in and was told I can't. Since it's been over 2 yrs since they've been there, they are considered new patients and they don't take new patients over age 12. However, they do take patients who have been there consistently through 18 yrs old. Apparently, this has been their policy since pre covid. The lady also went on to tell me that they aren't equipped to take take care of my children's needs. They both need a teeth cleaning and one needs a baby tooth extracted prior to getting braces. I can't imagine those services are beyond their expertise. How disappointing that even during a pandemic they don't value their patients! Very poor customer service!

TAKE NOTE ON ALL THE 1 STAR RATINGS! This place is the worst. They don't want parents involved in their young child's care. They will only take appointments IF your willing to ABANDON your child at the door and let them do what they please while your left far enough away to not hear the child screaming. They call this their "child separation policy." If your a loving parent who likes to ask questions and wants the best for your child then you will quickly be banned from coming back. What kind of parent is willing to leave a 3 year old with a stranger? Why can't I witness what your doing to my child? What don't you want me to see? This was before, during and after covid so thats not the excuse. The ideal patient to them is someone who has an unlimited budget and doesn't question anything. Avoid this place at all cost if you love your child!

I don't know what happened to this office. I took my oldest here for othro starting about 7 years ago and the staff was the nicest, working with me for evening/Saturday appointments around my work schedule and using phone/drop-off for all paperwork. I took my youngest here for her first ortho evaluation in August 2021, no evening or weekend appointments available. Weeks later we were told to leave the practice because I wouldn't register in the online patient portal for future appointments (I have too many user names/passwords to keep track of already and never needed it here before). This week I found out from her regular dentist they never sent a report of seeing her AND missed two ectopic tooth eruptions! Dr. AJ was so wonderful for my oldest that it's a shame that our experience with this office this year was a far cry from what it once was.

Family friends recommended them. I called because my son has a puffy cheek and tooth pain. They refused to see my son to help him.

I have to say by far the kindness and consideration on the phone by the receptionist, I believe she said her name was Olivia, I spoke to last week was exceptional, usually when I experience calling doctor's offices I am met by a voice who is none too pleased to be on the other line. She took time to answered my questions, and was wonderful to talk to. Such a breath of fresh air!

Called to schedule my child's first dentist appointment. The receptionist told me that they are no longer taking new patients and to call back in a few months to see if they will have any openings for a new patient. Since I did not want to wait that long, I asked for a referral. The receptionist stated that she didn't have one. How can you not have a referral if you are not taking new patients? Very unprofessional and beyond unhelpful. For an amazing dentist contact Macomb Family Dentistry.

This office does not seem to be held at the same standards it once was. I had braces here years ago, which entailed check-ups at no charge when needed for my retainers. I've never had a problem coming in before until now. The new staff seems to be absolutely clueless to this, wanting to charge $75 for an office visit that you must pay over the phone before you can even make an appointment. I will happily take my money elsewhere considering they have unethically decided to not keep policies in place that were promised.

Not only have my children been patients of both the dentistry and orthodontic sides of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Specialists of Michigan for years, but I also got my Invisalign treatment through them. So we all have healthy, good looking smiles thanks to the wonderful Dr. AJ and Dr. Mak. They and their staff are very nice, gentle and competent. I would, and do, recommend them to new parents as well as any of my friends/family that are looking to get Invisalign done. My daughter is highly sensitive to any type of pain, so the fact that she is not scared of the dentist at all is really saying something. Also, anyone interested in Invisalign, in my opinion having gone through the process - I would NEVER go through an online place for mail order trays - too many variables - Dr. AJ tweaked my trays and carefully guided my progress. Go through an orthodontist, you will be happier for it.

Love this office. All the employees are wonderful and very helpful. My daughter has been seeing Dr Curt for several years who is a wonderful caring dentist who is fantastic with kids. We have also had an awesome experience with Dr A.J. Ker the best orthodontists out there. He did an incredible job with my daughters braces. And she loves the results!
