Your child should have a comprehensive dental examination regularly, which includes a thorough examination of his or her teeth and gums. We use the findings from our examination to formulate a complete diagnosis and comprehensive treatment plan for your child.
Dr. Algenio is happy to call the South Suburbs of Chicago his home. He and his three daughters have been living and working in the area since 2001. Dr. Algenio graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1998 from Northwestern University. He attended the University of Iowa where he spent the next three years finishing two residencies and completing his Master's Degree in both Pediatric Dentistry and Public Health Dentistry.
Dr. Algenio is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a pediatric dentist has successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, application, and performance requisite to the delivery of quality patient care.
In addition to private practice, he has also served time as an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University Of Illinois Dental School. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Past President of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, and Chicago Dental Society in which he served as an officer at the local level, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Payment Options: Financial options are discussed during the initial visit. Our doctor and his staff are committed to providing excellent dental care and guiding parents in choosing the best payment option for their individual needs. We accept cash, check, credit cards and Care Credit (a dental credit card).
Dental Insurance: Your insurance is a contract with your employer and a dental insurance company. Benefits received are based on the terms of the contract negotiated between your employer and the dental insurance company, and not your dental office. The goal of most dental insurance policies is to provide only basic care with coverage for some specific dental services. Many services may not be covered under your policy. The benefits that you receive from the dental insurance company has nothing to do with your needs or achieving a high-quality complete result.
Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit your insurance forms to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Please remember that you are ultimately responsible for all expenses incurred. We urge you to read the policy so that you are fully aware of coverage and any limitations of the benefits provided.

Dr. Testa and her staff is patient and kind. My son has Autism and has extreme anxiety when going to the dentist. They were very patient with him and kept him calm the entire visit. They are amazing. He really enjoyed his visit. Thank you so much.

Excellent Dentist, Excellent Staff! My kids enjoyed coming here, when they were younger. This is a totally kid centered practice. Your child will not grow up with Dental phobia (like I did) They were actually sad, when they aged out! I would completely recommend Dr. Testa and her practice. Top Notch!

Today was our first time with our 1 year old she was so patient and gentle. I was worried but meeting Dr. Testa I realized I had nothing to worry about she took care of our daughter like it was her own child. She is the best pediatric dentist you will ever meet. Absolutely loved the kid friendly environment!Everyone is welcoming and upbeat. Their work is fast, accurate and honest! My kid was shocked that it wasn't as painful as other experiences. Definitely found a home, highly recommend!

If I could, I'd give a million stars, not just five to Dr. Rebecca. She is kind, gentle, patient, ethical and knows her job very well. Having atypical child is a challenge itself, but Dr. Rebecca handles that very well. I recommend Dr. Rebecca 100%

HIGHLY recommend! I took my 3 year old for his very first dentist visit, and Dr.Rebecca and staff made him so comfortable, and explained everything to him very thoroughly. As someone who had a bad experience with Dentists as a child, I really appreciate the extra care the entire staff showed to make sure my little one had a good experience
