Rana Graham-Montaque DDS, MS, MSD was born in West Point, VA and attended Hampton University receiving a masters and bachelors in science. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)and received a doctorate in dental surgery in 2006. Since graduation, she worked in public health dentistry as the dental director at the Daily Planet Healthcare for the Homeless in Richmond and started a public health dental clinic for Central Virginia Health Services in Fredericksburg, VA. Dr. Graham returned to VCU to specialize in pediatric dentistry after working as a general dentist and was awarded a specialty certificate and masters in dentistry in 2012. She passed the rigorous board certification and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active supporter of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and serves as adjunct faculty at VCU and Thomas Nelson Community College Dental Hygiene Department. She is a member of the American Academy for Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. During her spare time, Dr. Graham-Montaque enjoys activities with her husband, Rick and their two children. She stays active by running local races, horseback riding, and swimming. Dr. Graham-Montaque has started Pediatric Dental Specialists of Williamsburg, PLLC to offer a variety of services to children and special needs patients and is looking forward to serving the Williamsburg community and surrounding areas.

Dr Rana is so sweet and kind. My son is 4.5 with non verbal autism. She was so patient with us and talked us through his procedure with kindness. She answered all our questions with patience. Her whole team was very caring and professional with us. I can't thank them all enough for treating my son like he was their own.

Unprofessional and condescending. Couldn't get my children scheduled 3 months out, then finally when their appointment day arrived, I'm told that because I did not confirm the appointment, that I'd had for 3 months, my children were canceled. Talking to me like I know what their policy is?! "Mom, we tried calling you, did you not see we called you? Says here your voice-mail is full. Did you get an email? And did you respond to the email? Okay, well since you did not confirm, we took you off the schedule." Went back to check my emails and it's not even an email from a dentist office, it's from Briel Jones, with a question mark next to the name because clearly Google had no idea where it came from. But it's my fault... thanks for nothing! My girls will be seen this Thursday (NOT 3 MONTHS FROM NOW) by another pediatric dentist. Word gets around fast in a small town.

I called today asked for the procedure codes for the insurance claim. I got the answers over the phone. But whoever answered the phone, she had no patience, and I wasn't treated with respect as a non-English speaker.

The whole office is amazing! Dr. Graham is always so sweet and patient and thorough. The staff is friendly and willing to help with any questions you have! Great dentist office overall!

My son has been going to this dentist since he was 2; my son was born with a cleft palate so we started going to the dentist early. We have had some major work done that was actually done at the sentara hospital since he was so young. That experience went well and we had no problems at all and were very happy with the results. We have an upcoming appointment in late September due to the corona virus and the pandemic it has been difficult to schedule appointments. Not specifically with this dentist office ; im talking about in general with EVERY place that has you make an appointment. My son had been having problems with his back tooth and just cannot wait until September to fix it. I have been on the phone for 2 days with his dentis office to see if i can have an earlier appointment. Each time on the phone Kathy has been AMAZING! She is very nice and seems to actually care about what is going on. She made some phone calls and arrangements and was able to get me an earlier appointment! YOU ROCK KATHY! I felt like i was being so annoying for calling so much and asking the same questios over and over but each time I talked with Kathy I felt like she was understanding and she knew how concered i was. Not ONCE did she make me feel like a crazy person for calling so much. I really appreciate you all !

We love going to the Dentist. My son Carlisle had some work done today. And he always does so amazing! Dr. Graham is so sweet and amazing at her job. Everyone at Pediatric Dental Specialists of Williamsburg makes every appointment feel like a warm and gentle experience. We brought Dr. Graham a gift today because she more than deserves the treat for being so kind and Awesome! Carlisle even did amazing under anesthesia at the Hospital a few years ago. I was so worried but everything went perfectly. If you need a pediatric dentist in your area. This is the only office we would recommend! Thank you guys for making every appointment so great.

Kathy is very unprofessional and rude. She also has called my Dr. office being rude and unprofessional they said Kathy called there yelling on the phone and that she is a piece of work and that she can't be calling being disrespectful. I refuse to talk to Kathy. The Manager at the dr office says someone needs to check her and I totally agree. She yells and screams and talks smart to you she don't care. I wish I had more options for my son but unfortunately there is not one currently.
