Dr. Kristina Rogers is an AAPD board-certified pediatric dentist who resides in Grand Junction, Colorado, with her family. Dr. Rogers grew up in Provo, Utah. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from Brigham Young University and her dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Rogers completed dental school as valedictorian and culminated her advanced training in pediatric dentistry with a residency at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Rogers is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Board CertifiedPediatric Dentist and a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Colorado Dental Association. Dr. Rogers practiced pediatric dentistry for nearly a decade in Salt Lake City, Utah, prior to joining Pediatric Dental Specialists. From a very young age, Dr. Rogers has always wanted to help others, especially children. Because she believes every child is special and unique, she treats them as the important person that they are. She strives to make every child feel comfortable and empowered about his or her dental care.
In her spare time, Dr. Rogers and her husband, Jeff, love spending time outdoors, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, and visiting family. More recently, she enjoys painting with watercolor as a creative outlet.
LaKell graduated from Sheridan College Dental Hygiene School in Sheridan, WY in 2006. She then went on to complete her B.S. in Dental Hygiene at the University of Wyoming in 2007. She worked for 9 years in general dentistry before moving to the Grand Valley in 2015.
LaKell has been part of the PDS team since 2015 and has really enjoyed learning more about the pediatric side of the dental field as well as the energy and excitement the children bring to her work environment.
LaKell, her husband (Dewey), and their daughter (Arizona) spend the weekends enjoying all the recreation western Colorado has to offer! LaKell loves mountain biking, running, weight training, golfing and camping in her spare time! Originally a Wyoming girl, she really enjoys the warmer climate here on the western slope and has settled in to call Fruita home for her family!

The staff is incredible, from check in to check out everyone we interacted with was as kind as could be. With it being the little one's first time at the dentist, I was a tad worried, but their team did a great job acclimating him to the space, their tools, and them! Beautiful facility too, with plenty to keep the kids active during the brief wait beforehand. I definitely recommend this office!

The staff at PDS are always so great at explaining everything they are doing and going to do directly to my child. They are fantastic at meeting my child exactly where they are at every appointment. My child is always excited to go to the dentist!

My 6yo son has 8 caps put on his molars. The experience was fantastic from the front desk, doctor and anesthesiologist. He had no issues, no pain and no anxiety. Highly recommend!

This was my children's first ever experience at the dentist and we were all nervous. The entire team from the front desk to the dentist were all fantastic, understanding and caring. They really go the extra mile to make sure your kiddo is comfortable and I truly appreciate all of them! They even offered to connect us with a specialist for our kiddo with the cleftie. Truly a great place!

This dentist office is amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful, we are always able to get in pretty quickly and my kids love going to the dentist! All-around great experiences. The dentists remember my kiddos and are always quick to engage with them. Love it!

Really great office. Front office staff, hygienists, and dentists were all friendly and knowledgeable. Felt heard and treated fairly, which hasn't always been the case for us at dentist offices.

My 16 month old son's first dental experience today was amazing. The whole staff from the very first phone call, exam, and the check out was incredible. I appreciate all of the care we received today deeply. Dr. Beck was so kind and his assistant was very warm and explained what we could expect well before the dr. came to take a peek. What a wonderful place for kids and parents.
