Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your child to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

Pediatric Dental Specialists - Pediatric dentist in Livonia, MI

Our doctors and team welcome every child with warmth, care for them with compassion and integrity, and work to ensure every visit is filled with laughter. We want kids to feel at ease in the dental environment, excited to take care of their smiles, and to have a happy and healthy life!

Everyone at Childrens Dental Care knows the importance of gaining our young patients trust. We provide painless, worry-free visits, tailored to each child, and ensure a welcoming, non-threatening environment.

In our clinic, we invite children to pick their seat and flavor of toothpaste. If they want to sit up in the chair, or stand, were okay with that. Likewise, if theyre more comfortable sitting on their parents lap, we will gladly adapt! We want kids to feel comfortable and we know that allowing them to make simple decisions makes them feel in control and decreases their anxiety.

When it comes to treatment, we use a Tell-Show-Do approach, with lots of positive reinforcement. By using everyday words, and showing children exactly what will happen, we take the unknown, which can be scary, and make it familiar and therefore safe!

We understand kids and love the energy each brings to our office! Its not unusual to find a doctor or team member crouched on the floor, chatting with a little one. Sometimes were talking about brushing and flossing, sometimes were chatting about superheroes!

First time experience, took my 10yo & 3yo, both had good experiences. The office staff and dentist were informative, professional and nice. They explained everything thoroughly. I would recommend this pediatric dentist!

Not sure why so many negative reviews... my son's experience has been great here! They explained his xrays clearly to me, they're kind, the rooms are definitely designed and decorated with children in mind, and my son loves the arcade machine!

The front desk is definitely not friendly. The dentist we saw was nice. I took time off work to bring my son in for an appointment and they were randomly closed for the day without a phone call or anything to reschedule. Completely unreliable and unprofessional.

This office was awful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First we waited a good 15-20 minutes after our appointment time to be seen. Not a huge issue because I understand running behind and I wouldn't mention it if the rest of the visit wasn't completely terrible. Once we were taken back the lady was very polite taking the X-rays. Then comes the major issues. We waited an hour between the X-rays for the doctor to see us. Mind you, this was just a consultation appointment so it should have been quick. The dentist comes in, looks at the X-rays, states that they need to replace the film because these aren't great X-rays and then tells me my 4-year old needs 8 crowns. EIGHT! All his molars. What?! I went back to my dentist who had referred us here and he gave me another dentist who also confirmed that this was majorly excessive. My son has one cavity and a few that they put a watch on. Absolutely unacceptable service.

I honestly am surprised to see anything but 5 stars here. Our experience here yesterday was excellent from start to finish. We were referred here last minute because my son had a root canal emergency. The staff was friendly, extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable. They not only knew what they were doing but they seem to really enjoy helping families. Dr. Rehab worked on my son and she did a fantastic job. I was so distracted that I forgot to ask for the other ladies names in the office in order to mention them here as well. What a great team they are. I'm so greatful we were referred to you! I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Do not go here!! Place has gone downhill tremendously since Dr.Stern retired.. my daughter had a 11am appt for sedation. Mind you, the appointment was suppose to be on Monday at 9am but THE FACILITY called and had to reschedule. At 11:40am we were still in the waiting room.. she couldn't eat or drink past midnight the day before.. so this facility has no problem making a 6 year old wait until after lunch for her first drink of water and food for the day. Very unacceptable and very poor management.

Do not send your kids here!!!! I had an extraction done when I was 11 that was painful and tranumatizing and now I can't go the dentist without taking heavy anxiety meds and sobbing throughout the entire procedure. They do not listen or care about their patients and I wish my parents would have taken me to any other pediatric dentist. Please don't let your kids end up like me

Have never felt anything but judged here. Got lectured for letting my kids eat goldfish crackers. Also was told that genetics play no role in teeth/cavities. Lastly, they laughed at my daughter when she had a panic attack and handled it with the sensitivity of a bull on steroids.

My son has been a patient here for over 10 year and he loves it. Now my 5 year old daughter is a patient here and she actually looks forward to going. Staff is very polite and professional.

I had to leave pediactric dental specialists after they told me i needed to stop nursing my daughter who wasnt even 2 at the time, the assistant said "you know shes gonna cry anyways right?" and they strapped my baby down and pulled her tooth without anesthesia because she was "too small" to sedate. She was almost 2 at the time. I will never recommend that place to anyone. The only kind people there are the girls at the desks. The doctor and assistant were incredibly rude to me and had me in tears on multiple occasions.

I would give them a 0 if possible. The front desk is rude like mentioned in other reviews. They gave an appointment a month after and the day of the appointment claim the appointment to be 30 mins early and asking to reschedule. The appointment reminder system is BS, and the I did not receive any text as they claim and the voice message tells a different time. Do not recommend talking to them

They should NOT call themselves Pediatrical specialists. They don't have any approach to children. My son was nervous and the nurse said they have to wear to him a straitjacket and give him some gas so the doctor can work and not waste anymore of his precious time. I was very upset and unhappy. Never ever came to their office again. I found a great dentis that talk with normal and calm voice without any gas and without having to tie my son to a chair like Spanish inquisition. Very disappointed!!! ..

If I could give 0 stars I would!! They are terrible they're suppose to be pediatric specialist but they are far from that, they aren't friendly don't make you feel comfortable especially the blonde lady. They made my 3 year old terrified didn't comfort him got annoyed with him and on top of that they gave him too much medication and lied about the amount on the paperwork!!!! my son was given too much medication then he should of he ended up in the er with tachycardia because of what they did!! Long story short they don't care about the patients only the money the do unnecessary procedures just to get money they don't care about your situation or the pain the child is in!!!!
