Dr. Kristina Rogers is an AAPD board-certified pediatric dentist who resides in Grand Junction, Colorado, with her family. Dr. Rogers grew up in Provo, Utah. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from Brigham Young University and her dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Rogers completed dental school as valedictorian and culminated her advanced training in pediatric dentistry with a residency at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Rogers is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Board CertifiedPediatric Dentist and a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Colorado Dental Association. Dr. Rogers practiced pediatric dentistry for nearly a decade in Salt Lake City, Utah, prior to joining Pediatric Dental Specialists. From a very young age, Dr. Rogers has always wanted to help others, especially children. Because she believes every child is special and unique, she treats them as the important person that they are. She strives to make every child feel comfortable and empowered about his or her dental care.
In her spare time, Dr. Rogers and her husband, Jeff, love spending time outdoors, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, and visiting family. More recently, she enjoys painting with watercolor as a creative outlet.
LaKell graduated from Sheridan College Dental Hygiene School in Sheridan, WY in 2006. She then went on to complete her B.S. in Dental Hygiene at the University of Wyoming in 2007. She worked for 9 years in general dentistry before moving to the Grand Valley in 2015.
LaKell has been part of the PDS team since 2015 and has really enjoyed learning more about the pediatric side of the dental field as well as the energy and excitement the children bring to her work environment.
LaKell, her husband (Dewey), and their daughter (Arizona) spend the weekends enjoying all the recreation western Colorado has to offer! LaKell loves mountain biking, running, weight training, golfing and camping in her spare time! Originally a Wyoming girl, she really enjoys the warmer climate here on the western slope and has settled in to call Fruita home for her family!

We took our 4 year old in for his first ever dentist appointment and couldn't be happier with the care he received. Everyone spoke with him like a little human being and let him know exactly what they were doing. We appreciate the time they took to speak with not only us, but him as well about his dental care.

Dr cox was amazing!!! Son got fillings and a tooth pulled and had a great experience. Can't remember hygienists name but she was also great!

We have been patients for many years and they have always been amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and my girls love going. Very different from when I was a kid!! Consistently awesome from appointment to appointment and all locations. Can't say enough nice things. Extremely happy!

All my children have been Pediatric Dental Specialists patients, and all have received unwavering great care. The Grand Junction office was our go-to for 8 years, until the new Fruita location opened. Yay! When my son needed braces to correct a severe under bite, they helped us coordinate care with an orthodontist that was 100% covered by our insurance, and a block from his school. They've even made special accommodations for two of my kids to receive care until 16, when we had a terrible experience at a different dental office after 'graduating out' of pediatrics. I highly recommend these dental practices...especially for the accommodations they provide for special needs children (or families)....like private rooms for even a simple cleaning.

These are some of the kindest people on the planet. So gentle and patient with the little ones. My almost 4 year old has been coming every 6 months since he was 18 months and has never been afraid or cried.it takes very special people to provide this level of care to the tiniest patients. So thankful they chose to come to Fruita!

I took my 16 month old in & the environment was amazing! They never forced her to lay down or made her anxious! They let her explore and get used to the room. Loved our experience.
