Dr. Mindy Simms was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Akron. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University Dental College earning her DDS with honors in 2006. After completing her schooling, Dr Simms moved to Atlanta where she practiced general dentistry for four years, during which time she came to realize her passion for pediatric dentistry. Her pursuit in pediatric dentistry then took her to Naples, Fl where she completed an additional two years of advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Florida. She completed her pediatric residency in 2012 and received her specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Wanting to provide the best care possible Dr Simms became a board certified pediatric dentist and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2013. Dr Simms is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is specialized in caring for children of all ages, from birth through adolescence, including patients with special health care needs.
When not at the office or educating herself and her staff to whats new in Pediatric Dentistry, you may find Dr. Simms enjoying the Georgia sunshine either running, hiking or biking with her family and their dogs.
With a daughter of her own, Dr. Simms understands the challenges that parents face and how hard it can be to provide preventive dental care. She looks forward to helping parents with their concerns by delivering the best care available and giving their children a comfortable, positive dental experience. With her primary focus and philosophy on preventative care, Dr Simms is committed to helping your child keep an attractive, healthy smile for a lifetime. She prides herself on preventing dental problems, protecting childrens overall health, and make dental visits easy and fun.
Dr. Stone is a pediatric anesthesiologist; a medical doctor who has completed specialty training in anesthesiology and extra training in anesthesia for infants and children. Dr. Dennis Stone was certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1980 and earned his recertification in 1993. He received his medical degree from the University in 1976 and completed a 3-year residency in Anesthesiology at The University of Florida. He served a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and a pediatric cardiovascular anesthesiology fellowship at the University of Alabama.
Dr. Stone has practiced pediatric anesthesiology for over 21 years at The Wolfson Childrens Hospital where he served as Director of the Pediatric Anesthesia Department, Director of Outpatient Surgical Services, Director of Pain Management Services and was a founding member of the Division of Anesthesiology of The Nemours Childrens Clinic.

My kids absolutely love this dentist!! They are friendly, easy to talk to, and don't make you feel bad when you tell them you could improve on brushing teeth at home! They have an arcade and show a movie while the kids get their teeth cleaned. They leave with a new toothbrush, flossers and an animal balloon!

They are wonderful with kids...my daughter leaves smiling ear to ear every visit. Today was her third visit and the hygienist did exceptionally well with her first big kid cleaning. Her name was Catherine and but I didn't catch the assistants name who was also wonderful.

Amazing practice. The dentist and dental assistants were super nice, very welcoming for my children, they talked about everything before they began thier work, which helped ease my little ones nerves. My children are 4 and 2 and both had an a great experience. The dentist was very gentle and we are definitely going back.

This was my 12 month olds first visit to the dentist and we couldn't have been more impressed! He loved the themes in every room and the staff was so nice and welcoming. He usually hates getting his teeth brushed but by the time we left he was all smiles! He has found his new dentist and we are thrilled!!!!

Super kid Friendly. The staff was so nice and patient. My son was so nervous because it was his first time seeing a dentist, however the staff was very nice. They made everything go smoothly. Thank you for being so kind!

In 2015 I was looking for a Pediatric Dental Office for my daughter who was 17 months old. I found this office in Hiram Georgia. I spoke to the staff by phone and decided to try it. I met with the staff and was very pleased. Their walls are decorated to make the children feel more comfortable. They have a sitting area for parents so you can be near your child during the visit. The staff talks with my daughter and enteracts with her during the x-rays and cleaning. My daughter never feels afraid of going to the office for a cleaning. Yesterday, I arrived to verify my daughter's appointment. I was a day early. Instead of sending me off until the next day, they offered to work me in. I listened to the dental hygienist while she cleaned my daughter's teeth. She talked to her about areas she missed while brushing her teeth. She asked her about her brushing habits and my daughter talked with her. When we arrived home, that evening while my daughter was brushing her teeth she said,"daddy I need to make sure I brush the areas around my gums too." My daughter is almost 9 years old with no cavities. I cannot express my appreciation for the staff at this office. They care about the children and their job. Thanks

Both of my children go here and they are great! The 7yo has had cavities filled with no fuss or drama, and the 2yo has had great check ups! They're very good with kids, I highly recommend them.

Pediatric Dental Specialist of Hiram has made us feel at home since our very first appointment with them. They made my 5yo dental procedure a very comfortable experience for both her and I. They worked in a timely manor and were extremely helpful in answering all questions. The staff is welcoming from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend Pediatric Dental Specialist of Hiram!

My son struggles with going to the dentist because of a poor experience he had at another practice. He also can be a difficult patient and the team was very caring and reassured my son. The dentist was the best. First time in 6 years of going to a pediatric dentist that someone took the time to answer my questions.

My son had a rough time at another office. When he comes here they always make him feel comfortable. They are EXTREMELY patient and do their best to handle difficult patients. I'm grateful for there willingness continue to try to make is a good experience for him. I have only once encountered a staff member that came off a bit brute. Peds isn't for everyone! But again the rest of staff made up for it from checkin to checkout. As always Dr. Simms is always friendly, professional, quick and to the point. Never a let down. I had to take tough guy in today for a problem visit. From check in to check out. Every staff member, assistant and Dr. Simms was phenomenal. I literally can not express my gratitude for these wonderful ladies not getting frustrated (or at least not showing it lol) being so calm, trying every Which way to comfort my little guy. He left with a smile today. Even before bed tonight he was talking about the appointment today. I think a breakthrough was made!! but would have never happened without this team and Dr. Simms. I will refer anyone to come and see this practice.

Love this office!! My daughter was terrified of the dentist, and needed a few procedures done. They made her feel comfortable, talked to her throughout the appts and she didn't feel a thing!! Highly recommend!!
