Dr. Daniel Crawford graduated from Haughton High School in 1970 and from Louisiana Tech University in 1974. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University in 1978. After a two-year residency in New Orleans, he received a certificate in pediatric dentistry in 1987. Dr. Crawford is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has hospital privileges at Willis-Knighton Medical Center.
Dr. Crawford is married to Gretchen Scherf Crawford and has four children:John Aaron, Hunter, David, and Natalie. He has two daughters-in-law, Shannon Crawford and Sarah Crawford, and two granddaughters, Isabel and Olivia.
Dr. Lauren Wallace attended Tulane University and then Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge with a majorin microbiology. Sheearned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1993. From 1993 to 1995 Dr. Wallace did her pediatric dental residency at LSU School of Dentistry.
In 1995, Dr. Wallace moved with her husbandMattto Shreveport. She joined Drs. James R. Lang and Daniel A. Crawford at Pediatric Dental Partners in July 1995. In September 2013, she received her board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has hospital privileges at Willis-Knighton MedicalCenter and is a member of the Willis-Knighton Cleft team headed by Dr. G.E. Ghali.
Dr. Shannon Backofen is a native of Bossier City. She attended Airline High School and Louisiana Tech University for her undergraduate degree. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Memphis in 1992. After a two-year residency from 1994 to 1996 at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, she earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry. She joined Pediatric Dental Partners in 1996.
Dr. Susan Chidlow is a native of Shreveport and a former patient at Pediatric Dental Partners. She attended C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport and LSU Baton Rouge for her undergraduate degree. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Chidlow was accepted into the pediatric dental residency program at LSUSD and graduated in 2004. She joined Pediatric Dental Partners the following year.

Pediatric Dental Partners has some amazing employees. Their customer service is great and they're always helpful when needed. The lobby is organized and clean and so is the environment! Definitely recommend!!

Honestly the best decision I could have made concerning my kids dental health. My super shy big kid isn't afraid to talk to the ladies and my two year old is so comfortable she lays back easily and let the ladies clean her teeth. So excited to bring my youngest to see how he interacts with the ladies. Hands down I love them and wish I would have found them sooner.

Awesome treatment! Hygienist are so personable and great with all three kids and make them feel at ease. I love the way they explain everything to kids before a procedure is done! The drs always make them feel special! Best dentist ever! The team makes it so easy for the kids. They made the pulling a a tooth a breeE and they made it feel so at ease! Ty PDP.
