Dr. Daniel Crawford graduated from Haughton High School in 1970 and from Louisiana Tech University in 1974. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University in 1978. After a two-year residency in New Orleans, he received a certificate in pediatric dentistry in 1987. Dr. Crawford is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has hospital privileges at Willis-Knighton Medical Center.
Dr. Crawford is married to Gretchen Scherf Crawford and has four children:John Aaron, Hunter, David, and Natalie. He has two daughters-in-law, Shannon Crawford and Sarah Crawford, and two granddaughters, Isabel and Olivia.
Dr. Lauren Wallace attended Tulane University and then Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge with a majorin microbiology. Sheearned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1993. From 1993 to 1995 Dr. Wallace did her pediatric dental residency at LSU School of Dentistry.
In 1995, Dr. Wallace moved with her husbandMattto Shreveport. She joined Drs. James R. Lang and Daniel A. Crawford at Pediatric Dental Partners in July 1995. In September 2013, she received her board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has hospital privileges at Willis-Knighton MedicalCenter and is a member of the Willis-Knighton Cleft team headed by Dr. G.E. Ghali.
Dr. Shannon Backofen is a native of Bossier City. She attended Airline High School and Louisiana Tech University for her undergraduate degree. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Memphis in 1992. After a two-year residency from 1994 to 1996 at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, she earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry. She joined Pediatric Dental Partners in 1996.
Dr. Susan Chidlow is a native of Shreveport and a former patient at Pediatric Dental Partners. She attended C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport and LSU Baton Rouge for her undergraduate degree. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Chidlow was accepted into the pediatric dental residency program at LSUSD and graduated in 2004. She joined Pediatric Dental Partners the following year.

The only reason I removed 2 stars is because it's a lot of out of pocket expenses if you have Military Dental Coverage. Also-during our last visit we thought we might be a few minutes late and I called ahead-they told me that if we were more than 10 minutes late it would be canceled (which I completely understand). Thankfully we got there on time (traffic wasn't as bad as I had thought) and then they had the audacity to make us wait 30 minutes in the waiting room. I don't typically care but the fact that they were on me for the potential to be late and then made us wait was very frustrating. As for the staff that actually sees the kids - they were all very lovely and the kids did great.

We love Pediatric Dental Partners Bossier! They're so kind and good with kids. Gentle, but thorough. My two year old actually LIKES going to the dentist now!

My friend recommended this dentist. My son's two adult teeth at the bottom are pushed through and almost in, but he still has one of the two bottom baby teeth right there. Dr. Wallace took care of and my son didn't have a fear in his body. Thank you Pediatric Dental Partners. You guys are awesome !

Our first visit to Pediatric Dental Partners wowed my little princess. She loved everything, from the decorations to the prizes and stickers. The staff was warm and welcoming. Also everyone was very professional and absolutely gentle with my child. When it comes to finding a pediatric dentist being gentle, knowledgeable, clean and professional is a plus. And that is Pediatric Dental Partners.
