At Pediatric Dental Center of North Idaho, we always provide children with the best dental care in the area! Our team focuses on preventative dentistry, meaning we teach children to brush, floss and have a healthy diet to reduce the risk of cavities, gum disease or other dental issues. We begin seeing children as early as one year old, and we encourage parents to bring their kids as early as possible to start them on the track to great oral health!

As part of our mission to use the latest technology for excellent dental care, we use the Waterlase MD, a safe and effective laser that combines water and energy to perform a wide range of procedures. This minimally invasive laser removes the need for needles, numbness, heat, vibration, or pressure, creating a comfortable experience. The need for local anesthesia is reduced, and kids can even eat right after the procedure is over! We will work with you to determine if laser dentistry is right for your child.
Digital x-rays allow us to discover dental issues that cant be seen during a visual exam. For example, we can use them to track tooth development and decay. We are able to send x-ray images electronically to a computer, where we can view, store, send or print them. As a result of digital x-rays, we get higher quality images, much less exposure to radiation, and a more comfortable experience for the patient.
Our team is proud to offer the most sophisticated dental instruments, in-house laboratory products and advanced fabrication equipment, such as laser technology, digital x-rays and mercury-free fillings.
All of our patients are placed on a recall program customized to their needs. Children with more significant dental problems will need to seen more frequently. Most patients will be seen every six months.
To keep our prices affordable, we request payment at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex). A 10% discount is offered for payment with cash or check, and 5% for credit or debit cards without insurance. The parent that brings the child to the office is responsible for all charges, as we cannot send statements to other people. We accept most dental insurance and can help you maximize your insurance benefits. We can pre-authorize treatment plans and prepare and file your claim.
We do ask that you pay your deductible, co-payment and non-covered portions at the time of the visit. If your insurance company doesnt pay our office, you are responsible for the balance. After 90 days, interest will accumulate.
