Pediatric Dental Center is a leading pediatric dental practice serving the Greater Cincinnati area including Northern Kentucky, Southeast Indiana and Cincinnati. The team at Pediatric Dental Center is committed to building and reinforcing the foundation for lifelong oral health from infancy through adolescence.

We have each specialized in pediatric dentistry and are dedicated to making childrens visits to the dentist pleasant and comfortable. This philosophy builds a relationship of trust and confidence and takes the fear out of visiting the dentist. This way children feel good about visiting the dentist and are encouraged to care for their own teeth.

The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that dental visits begin no later than 12-months as an effective way to begin a lifelong program of preventing dental disease. During the 12-month dental visit, we examine the child for early tooth decay, provide parents with information on proper oral and facial development and see if the teeth are growing in properly.

Whether you visit our Burlington KY, Crestview Hills KY, or Cold Spring KY office, at the Pediatric Dental Center, we are concerned about your childs total health care. Good oral health is an important part of total health. Because dental decay is 100% preventable, our treatment approach centers on prevention. We also focus on early detection of and treatment of dental diseases, and we keep current on the latest advances in dentistry for children.

Preventive dentistry begins with the first tooth. Daily cleaning of the teeth should begin as soon as the first tooth erupts. Dental decay can occur at an astounding rate. In fact, the American Dental Association reports that, just because babies dont have any visible teeth, [that] doesnt mean they cant get cavities.

The potential for rapid decay is the reason the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends the second step of preventative dentistry, a childs first dental exam, occur no later than his or her first birthday. Early dental visits are the foundation of a lifetime of good oral health. The younger the child is at his or her first dental visit, the better the chance of preventing dental disease and helping your child develop a cavity-free smile. Waiting until a child is 3 years old or cooperative enough to bring them in for their first dental visit may result in the child developing preventable dental problems.

The third component of preventative dentistry is developing a long-term treatment plan. We educate the patient and the guardian as to what they can do over time to promote normal dental growth and development. Some of these methods include practicing good oral hygiene, controlling diet, using fluoride, and installing sealants.

Couldn't be more pleased with my experience! My daughter actually loved her dentist app. Highly recommend for kids! I honestly don't think I would ever taken them anywhere else.

This place is a freaking joke. They dismissed my kids from their practice because they said I've missed multiple appointments without a 24-hour cancellation and to be honest I've only missed my youngest daughter's appointment but ONLY once and that was during covid time

Our children have been patients at Pediatric Dental Center since 2013. Our experience is always EXCELLENT. The front desk personnel are always welcoming and accommodating with scheduling. The hygienists are extremely patient with the little ones and very friendly. The dentists do a thorough job of explaining the results of the visit. I can't say enough about Dr. Soper. He's an extremely thoughtful, and genuine person, in addition to being an excellent dentist. We are extremely happy we were referred to his practice.

I love this location. Our three daughters range from an 18 month old up to 7 years old. Their level of treatment and care works perfectly with each child. My 7 year old said today after our visit, "I like going there because everyone is so nice to us."

We have been coming here for 13 yrs and have always loved our service however now the children can't make appts foe next cleaning until almost time because they have medicaid ( only because their parents walked off and gave them up) so that part trying to get appt when everyone else gets theirs made in advance sucks foe these kids.

I immediately didn't get the best vibes walking in this place when there was absolutely nothing for children in the waiting room. The walls weren't even painted in a way that might preoccupy an antsy kid. Additionally, my kid did a little too much waiting for a three year old only to be told she had multiple cavities and would need to be put to sleep for them to be fixed. There were no alternatives here, and yet we have since then gotten alternatives elsewhere. SDF is an option. I'm still frustrated by how long it took our appointment, just for consult, to be told we had one option. Not the best beside manner at ALL.

Very Friendly staff. Everyone was so Helpful and welcoming. Kids movies are playing in the waiting area. Kids stool in the bathroom. Usually I go places with 2 toddlers and feel like everyone is looking or irritated by cries. Not here. They even helped me get my kids Coats on. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. I was late and still able to be seen. Overall I enjoyed our visit !

I can't say enough good things about this office and their staff. My family have been patients of theirs for , I believe , 8 years now. They are efficient in getting all five of our kids in and out without feeling rushed. Their friendly demeanor from the moment you walk in the door to when you leave have my kids excited to see them next time. The staff and Dr. Soper have always been transparent with me about their dental care , concerns, and future plans. I never leave feeling confused, rushed out of the door, or neglected.

Dr. Dentist Eric Soper and his staff were absolutely EXCELLENT. This was our first visit to his office with our 5 year old son and 1 year old and we were thoroughly impressed with our visit. Eric Soper greeted the entire family, shook both parents hands and explained our children's teeth very well and answered all questions completely and accurately. He talked to both our children on their level and treated them very well. His staff was very nice and inviting and his dental assistant Lauren was extremely nice and discussed our children's dental habits as well. We would choose this pediatric dental office every time ! Thank you for such a great experience with our children, we look forward to bringing them to your office for all dental needs . Happy Parents.

A few days ago I posted a review of one star. This review was due to billing issues that were unresolved. However, after speaking with the office a few times, they really listened to my concerns and corrected the issues.Thank you for being a kind and understanding dental practice. I appreciate it very much.

We love seeing Dr. Soper! My daughter is almost 4 years old and was so excited to go back on her own! The hygienist, Taylor was so sweet and kind to my daughter and made her feel so special during the cleaning! Dr. Soper was great during our exam and let us know to keep up the good work! We left cavity free and excited to use our new princess tooth brush!
