Dr. Amir Yavari is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and loves to be in the office providing care to children. When he is not in the office, he devotes his time to mentoring and educating future pediatric dentists as a faculty member and associate director of the pediatric dental residency program at NYU Langone.
Dr. Patricia Doming has joined our team in providing orthodontic care for our wonderful family of patients and friends. Dr. Trish is from Lexington, MA and graduated from LHS. She went to Assumption College and double majored in biology and chemistry. Trish completed her DMD at Tufts Dental School in Boston. She earned her specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Colorado.
She is very happy to be home again! Trish takes pride in providing excellent patient care while achieving the best possible smiles. She enjoys hiking, biking, spending time with her two energetic dogs, and visiting new places.

Dr Golnazarian extracted a wisdom tooth for me. Everything went well, he was friendly, he explained everything thoroughly and the process was surprisingly pain free. Definitely would recommend

All my children has been seeing the dentist tor years. They have tremendous patience with my fearful son who sometimes need two people to hold him down. It's not close to us now since we moved but I don't risk to find another dentist.

Dr Yavari and Dr Swamy seem great. We have been long time patients under Dr Caravolas. 1) My concern is that the orthodontic practice is booking up patients quickly and doesn't have the capacity to handle the load!! My daughter got braces today. I paid $3800 upfront for services. 2)When I went to book my follow up appointment, I was told that Dr Swamy ONLY sees patients for adjustments on TUESDAYS. This means that I have to rearrange my work schedule for the next 2 years on Tuesdays. THIS WAS SOMETHING a patient NEEDS TO KNOW UPFRONT!!!! The office said they will try and open hours for wed in the future. 3) While I was there, 2 parents were told that their kids were squeezed in today because they had broken braces issues. The kids were made comfortable but their broken braces couldn't be fixed because the doctors didn't have time. Could the parents come back several hours later today to have the actual problem fixed? This seems highly irregular and disrespectful of people's time. I hope these issues get resolved quickly. I will update my review if they do.

Dentist was very pleasant and friendly. He explained the procedure thoroughly, gave options and allowed me to make my own decision based on the options provided. My toddler and I felt very comfortable and look forward to our next appointment

This dental office is the best for young children. Both of my daughters enjoy going to the dentist. The administration staff is super helpful. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking!

I took my 1 year old daughter today to see Dr. Amir. She doesn't have any teeth yet so I wanted to do a screening just to make sure she is okay. Dr. Amir explained to me that my daughter is great and just has some really strong gums. He reassured me that she is on track and gave me some things to do to massage the gums. He was such a natural with her and she did very well with her 1st exam. I definitely recommend Pediatric Dental Care in Waltham. Beautiful office and amazingly, kind staff!

It was our first time visiting since Dr. John retired and I was hesitant but Dr. Yavari was really nice and gave me and my kid detailed information about everything. The technician amazing as always. The only downside was the front desk, she was not paying very much attention when we told her why we were there and send us to wait in the ortho wing. But other than that... very happy with the attention my kid had.

I called at 4:25 for an emergency visit for my 3 year old. I was told to come right in. I was seen within 10 min of arriving. Dr. A was nothing short of amazing. His bedside manner, so to speak was textbook. I felt at ease and felt he was extremely knowledgeable as a pediatric dentist. My son took direction from him and felt comfortable while there and being examined.
